Absolutely beautiful hotel. Only a one night stay while on tour, but the room was fantastic, food delicious and service was impeccable. The staff bend over backwards for you.
Second stay in the hotel in the same trip. Every things is perfect . I left my bags since I had to come to Alexandria again.
My issue is the attitude in the booking. From my first booking when the hotel tried extracting the payment for the first night from my card before coming, they couldn't and they called too. Checked with the bank and I found the problem from thier side and the card is working. I messaged them and when I came I paid the total amount. The same problem happened again with the second booking and they called too. Told them that I'm in the middle of street, busy and I can't hear them properly. But even with that we continue taking, asked me the time for my arrival and insisted to pay via link for the first night since that thier policy. I replied that I will pay after I finish my business since I'm in place not suitable to pay and before 6pm as what they said. After half hour, the hotel tried to cut the amount again and immediately when they couldn't and received anther call but I didn't answer since truly I was seriously busy to argue again and have a huge amount of bill since I'm receiving international calls. When I come back in the place I was staying called them to understand what the reason for the other call and if the link truly was sent from the hotel since I also doubt them with the scamming that happening. Funny things they denied that they tried to cut the amount again when I received a message as always from my bank. They said the second call was to check when I will check in where I answered previously too. The difference between the procedure for the two receivation when in the second time it became worse.
We moved here after our original booking at another hotel proved disappointing . Excellent hotel with excellent staff and service. We especially enjoyed our meals both breakfast and in the hookah bar by the pool and the casual lobby cafe. Staff hospitality was faultless and food super yummy.
The staff were very helpful especially the Duty Manager
Poor co-ordination. They started to paint the corridor next to our room, so we had to change room
