El Mouradi Palm Marina

Room had no view it was buildings which were not nice to look at, room had bare electrical wires in toilet coming out the wall, toilet and bathroom kept having a strong smell of faeces really not nice, entrance to hotel is nice but as soon as you exit lift to your floor it then becomes a let down, felt uneasy and pressured to pay tips all the time and where we had to sit for meals, only good thing about holiday was the pool, there was a mix up with how long to stayed and we had 5 nights here and they were trying to check us out after day 1 which made us feel like our holiday was ended after 1 day. They made the mistake not us and then no apology. Would not come back.

The Best holiday my wife and I have had for years. Fantastic location, with beautiful beaches and Chrystal clear waters. The El Mouradi Palm marina is a large hotel, but not impersonal, everything is easily reached. Staff where brilliant and always wanting to help, nothing was too much trouble. We had a promotional room which was a balcony come terrace, it was the size of a 5 a side pitch, the views were stunning of the sea, pool and hotel. The room was very comfortable and spacious.
The dinning area was large with buffet style service. The food was not always to the taste of British customers, but the selection was vast and there was always something you could eat (after all, this is north Africa not Blackpool). We were taken care of by one of the waiting Staff, who ensured we had our table and served us drinks. A shout out to Old Salha here, you are the best.
A great entertainment team who made the whole experience special for young and old, the mixture of young and old was great to see.
The cleanliness of the rooms and the public area was exceptional. You would pay several hundred pound more for this hotel elsewhere, making this one of the best value for money holidays.
The hotel boasts a beautiful garden area that is very relaxing and peaceful.
Overall the Tunisian people are friendly, welcoming and want us there, they genuinely want you to enjoy their country.

Went with a group of girls to this wonderful hotel. The hotel is on the beach. The downside is that there are not enough sunbeds and umbrellas by the sea and you have to reserve one by 7:30 with a towel, or you're left without one. The good thing is the really great food. Everything is extremely tasty.

Momo has been amazing to us and the family on our trip, comes over every day to say hi and super friendly! Along with all the staff aswell, will definitely be coming back. Any time we need anything Mono has come to answer any questions and he has always sorted us out. The bar staff have been so great, will bring drinks to your sun bed and will always make sure you’re topped up!

I absolutely love this hotel I was here in December and came last month in may and just got back on Thursday and definitely will be booking again for this year. The rooms are always very clean on arrival and I am always happy with the rooms, the animation team is amazing and very friendly and always put a smile on you face. During the day there’s so much to do such as darts, archery, aqua gym. The food is good and is a lot of options and if you a pickey eater there is pasta, pizza, chips etc and the waiters are absolutely amazing in the restaurant aswell. You can also book excursions with captain jack such as quid bikes, boat trip, pirate boat and more he is amazing and I have enjoyed every excursion when I have been there. You can get henna tattoos and bracelets of boss he is very nice and always making everyone smile. There is also a night club/disco in the hotel that is open 11pm-2am which is really good and children can go aslong as with an adult and is also a spa in the hotel that is absolutely amazing and relaxing. I really recommend this hotel and honestly can’t wait to come back again🥰🥰

What a wonderful hotel. The staff are all really attentive without getting in your face. They’re always ready and happy to help.
Special thanks to Hosne, a great lifeguard that was ever present and helping you find suitable sunbeds then getting the cushions for you.
The housemaids were always so friendly and kept the room spotless with plenty of supplies.
The food was really great, lots of variety and 3 specialty restaurants aswell. My partner, daughter and myself all gave very different tastes and we were all very well catered for. Ice creams in the afternoon followed by the waffle and pancake truck, what’s not to love.
Great location, smack bang on a stunningly beautiful beach.
The hotel has everything you could need, the only downside is that it’s showing its age and will need some TLC soon.

My and my partner stayed at El Mouradi Palm Marina recently and it was absolutely fantastic! The location was generally fine since it was all inclusive so there was not really any reason to leave the complex other than for trips we booked, but it was only a 20 minute taxi into Sousse or the port. I was a little nervous visiting Tunisia, but I needn't have been. We didn't visit the markets by choice but it really was the people that made the holiday.
The only downside was that the rooms were a little dated with limited power outlets, although reception provided us when an extension lead as soon as we asked. Work was ongoing to part of the hotel so there was some occasional noise in the room or by the pool and we were not informed about this prior to travel, booking or upon arrival. But ultimately it did not impact our holiday negatively in any way and how long do you actually spend in your room?? All other areas were spotless, clean and spacious.

The pool area is nice and large with direct access to the beach, where you don't have to pay for sunbeds which was a nice change. Never had any trouble finding a subbed, and if they do run out, they will bring you some straight away, including nice soft mats to lie on over the wooden or plastic beds. The parasols are a little close together, so if you are a die hard sunbather, you will have to move around with the sun a little. There was a run that you can't put towels out before 8:30 am but this was largely ignored and removal of towels was not enforced.

The animation team were very good, both with the kids and adult games and evening entertainment. Lots of variety and laughs! The waiters in the restaurants and around the pool and beach area were brilliant, so friendly and welcoming, none of them could do enough for you from showing you a table to getting you a fresh drink before yours had run out, or just checking in to see if everything was ok. Tipping at the beginning of your holiday is recommended as it will guarantee you great service throughout the remainder of your stay. Salah in the main restaurant really helped make our holiday and looked after us all the time, he was brilliant!

Food was unlimited with tons of options and a decent selection for kids. I think there was only a 30 minute window in the morning and evening where there is a break from some sort of food. Breakfast, leads to brunch which leads to lunch, then its ice cream before waffles and crepes before evening dinner. After the evening entertainment there is then a late bar for drinks and toasties. The speciality restaurants are well worth it! Great food and a musician and/or singer too!

'Captain Jack' (Nazim) works for the hotel and organises trips. A really friendly guy and we booked 3 trips, the pirate boat, Flamingo Island and sunset horse riding. All were brilliant and Captain Jack always saw us to the pick up point and welcomed us back asking if we had a good time. I appreciate that you can book trips through your holiday provider and reps, but he really puts 100% into you and always made the effort to say hello daily, I would certainly recommend using him for your trips!

There is also a ton of activities available on the beach so you don't have to go far for anything really.

The hammam spa is also worth a visit - although don't do what I did and get a henna tattoo the day before as one of the packages includes a full body scrub!

If we wern't looking to visit somewhere different for each holiday I would definitely go back! The closed currency doesn't cause an issue - just make sure you spend all your money as its not really worth changing it back and everything is such good value for money you don't need too much.

Staff especially at the pool are perverts , pushy and annoying

if you are a female taking your daughter be careful of the pool guys and as they keep harassing females asking for phone numbers Instagram tiktok account all sorts and they think female's are an easy target

these staff should be the face of the hotel and the Tunisian tourism
NEVER AGAIN

Hello ,We were 2 adults and one child of 8.The young staff and all the activities kept us all busy in a perfect way.Parties , disco,foam party and the other surprises have made us feel great at this hotel.The food was also delicious , compliments to all chefs.The trip we took on the Pirate's Ship was also awesome, thank you Captain Jack ! and SALUT from Romania :) Thank you El Mouradi Palm Marina .We will be back next year , for sure!!!!

I recently spent 10 nights solo at this hotel making use of an excellent late deal, I am lucky enough to have now visited 89 countries worldwide, hence I have now managed to gain an encyclopaedia of experience!
Firstly, a very special thank you to Arwa for her excellent friendly and professional customer service during my visit, you’re a star and deserve a large bonus!! Rather than rant on here with Pro’s and con’s, I listed a few minor problems and included my observed recommendations, that I believe would make this a good Tunisian 5 Star, rather than an average 3-4 Star (just in certain areas!) This was done face to face before I left, which I hope they will take on board. The main let down for this Hotel is the wifi, the worse I have experienced throughout, hopefully they will sort this soon!
The hotel, offers spacious rooms with simple, no-frills furniture, but it's comfortable and functional. The large outdoor pool, private beach and excellent facilities is definitely a plus, I tipped staff generously where I found they went beyond normal everyday service just like I have done elsewhere.
Whilst I would like to name all individuals, a lot I can’t remember (other than those below). Everyone from reception, bar staff, housekeeping, waiters and ground/maintenance staff were always happy, smiling and ready to converse and help where possible. This, I believe, makes a good hotel.
However, those I would like to name are Salem (waiter), Lotfi (Pool), Kaouther (Room), Riyadh (Pool Bar) and Sarah (Spa Massage). These personnel went well beyond their normal duties to make my stay one to remember and possibly return in the future!
People’s personal expectations are always open to question with positive/negative reviews but I found this hotel had tried to deal positively with everything I personally requested, which is a huge plus.
I would personally define a good star 5 Star hotel by exceptional service, luxury amenities and high-quality accommodations. This includes personalised service from highly trained staff which is generally unlikely due to the level of pay they receive, generally a worldwide problem! Guest rooms would feature high-end furnishings, premium bedding and toiletries with 24hr room service being the standard. As this is my second visit to Tunisia, I can only match against personal experience received elsewhere.
Overall, most things I would expect from an All-Inclusive stay, comfortable, great facilities and service received but an improvement to the food/drinks, room coffee/tea facility, no deposit on pool towels, would be very beneficial. However, good value for the money paid!
Work in progress I think to make this a true 5*!
If I chose Tunisia again for a future holiday, I would only return to this hotel for the staff and if my personal recommendations were truly taken on board and had been implemented.
