Important information:

Please note that the Old Town is a pedestrianized area. Guests can drive to the hotel for unloading luggage. Access is only possible via Bergstraße. The reception provides reduced tickets for the Linzergasse public parking garage (at Glockengasse 4a).

Arrival and departure is possible from Monday to Saturday from 06:00 to 11:00. From 11:00 onwards and on Sundays and public holidays guests require a code which is available upon request via the telephone. Guests can call Altstadt Hotel Stadtkrug free of charge from the bollard by the property.

When traveling with pets, please note that an extra charge of 10 per pet, per night applies.

Zentrales Hotel mit Flair direkt am Kapuzinerberg
Pros:

Die Lage ist hervorragend - nur über die Staatsbrücke zur Altstadt, direkt in der Fußgängerzone - trotzdem ruhig (wir hatten ein Zimmer hinten raus). Das Personal - insbesondere an der Rezeption - war sehr freundlich. Das Hotel bietet eine ansprechende Kombination aus altem Gebäude und neuem Komfort. Die Zimmer waren sauber, hatten ausreichend Platz und alles was man braucht inkl. Bad-Zubehör, Kaffeemaschine und 2 kl. Flaschen Wasser zur Gratis-Entnahme im Kühlschrank. Auch die Dachterrasse war sehr schön mit Abkürzung Richtung Kapuzinerberg. Das Frühstück war gut - ausreichende Auswahl von Wurst und Käse, Fruchtsalat, Trauben, Müsli, Kuchen, Punschkrapfen, diverse Brotsorten, Eier auf Wunsch - es war jetzt kein komplett überladenes Buffet, aber das muss auch nicht sein- es gab alles, was man sich wünscht.

Cons:

Das Frühstück wurde in einem fensterlosen Raum eingenommen, in dem die Tische mit den Sesseln eher eng zusammengestellt waren. Das war etwas störend und man fragt sich, ob immer genug Platz für alle Gäste vorhanden ist, die gleichzeitig frühstücken wollen. Das war aber auch der einzige "Kritik"punkt.

Ein herzliches Willkommen
Pros:

Das Altstadt Hotel Stadtkrug liegt sehr zentral und doch genau so weit weg von der Touristenmeile, dass man dort gemütlich und nicht im vollen Trubel wohnen kann. Die Salzach, das Zentrum, Schloss Mirabell und der Makartplatz (mit Haltestellen) sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Das Personal ist unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit, das Upgrade eine tolle Überraschung! Die Pflegemittel im Bad duften herrlich und tun der Haut wohl, auf dem Kopfkissen wartet schon eine Mozartkugel auf jeden Gast! Das Bett ist sehr gut, die Matratze genau, wie sie sein sollte. Vielen herzlichen Dank!

Lage: Die Lage mitten in der Altstadt ist unschlagbar. Man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen.Frühstück:
Das Frühstück war gut und absolut ausreichend.
Zimmer: Für eine Nacht war die Zimmergröße völlig in Ordnung.

Cuando entré en la habitación 108 se escuchaba un ruido muy molesto y constante, como de máquinas. Abrí la ventana y vi que la habitación daba a un patio lleno de máquinas, compresores, y extractores de cocina. Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage – zentral, in der Nähe von Supermärkten, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Die Einrichtung ist schön und das Personal freundlich.

Cons:

Aufgrund der historischen Bausubstanz ist das Hotel für Gäste mit Gepäck nicht gerade freundlich – es gibt zu viele Treppen. Das Frühstück ist verbesserungswürdig, schließlich wird es als Vier-Sterne-Hotel bewertet.
