Important information:

Please note that the Old Town is a pedestrianized area. Guests can drive to the hotel for unloading luggage. Access is only possible via Bergstraße. The reception provides reduced tickets for the Linzergasse public parking garage (at Glockengasse 4a).

Arrival and departure is possible from Monday to Saturday from 06:00 to 11:00. From 11:00 onwards and on Sundays and public holidays guests require a code which is available upon request via the telephone. Guests can call Altstadt Hotel Stadtkrug free of charge from the bollard by the property.

When traveling with pets, please note that an extra charge of 10 per pet, per night applies.

Not a bad choice, but I’d look elsewhere next time.
Pros:

Great location, spacious room and comfortable bed. Apartment had great mini fridge and sink, with kitchenware and wine paraphernalia.

Cons:

Very hot room. Loud disco music in entry area unappealing, though we couldn’t hear it in our room at all. Shower door was preposterously complex. Wifi was out for almost a day.

Camera non spaziosa, bagno stretto senza bideau, alla reception non parlavano italiano quindi difficile la comprensione. Non spiegato bene al momento della prenotazione che è impossibile arrivare davanti all'hotel per lasciare le valigie.

Great location, great stay
Pros:

Old town but on the north side, everything was still extremely walkable (cathedral, fortress, train station, Mirabelle, river) and street was quiet and quaint, restaurants and grocery stores just s short walk away. Comfortable room with mini-fridge. Breakfast was wonderful and our darling served always remembered us and how we liked our eggs.

Cons:

Shower was a little tight but not unusual for a hotel built in a building from 1500s.

Hervorragende Lage in der Fußgängerzone. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer ( 185,--/Nacht) hatte den Ausblick auf ein Abluftrohr im Lichtschacht.
Das Frühstück war sehr durchschnittlich, kleine Auswahl von den zu erwartenden Durchschnittsprodukten.
