The owner of the hotel Ms.Emily and her son Teo was very nice. They were very helpful and friendly.

We were staying over in Samos on our way to Patmos. The hotel was easy to find from the port were we arrived. Check in was quick and easy. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was a little small, but plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Breakfast was hot and eggs cooked to order. Price was great.

The bed was hard and not comfortable.

This hotel is close to the ferry and reasonably comfortable the bed was a bit hard. The room was clean and airy. You need a car to Samos Island.

Holiday in Greece in July 2015. Needed a place close to the port of Vathi, as we were coming from Turkey. Booked and stayed at Emily Hotel. Hosts were very accommodating, and even moved us into 2 x 2 bed rooms from our 1 x family room. Friendly, good breakfast, and convenient to the port.

Great hotel on this quaint island. Close to the board-walk were can find restaurants and shops.

We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast every morning, personally made by Emily. The owners Emily and Harry gave us lots of information about sites to see and places to eat. When we ran into an issue with our travel plans, Emily kindly assisted us as best as she could. Most days were spent outside, but we were always glad to return.

The facilities were very good for a two-star hotel and the price was competitive. I would stay at Emily again. Although some things didn't work in our room. Clean but needs improvement. Owner very friendly and like to talk. Location excellent off main street but still city noise.

The hotel is in a good location and off the main harbour area, so quiet at night. Emily and her husband were very gracious and helpful and always around to make sure all was well. The best consist hot water and pressure in weeks for us! Breakfast was smaller than some, but very good and early for some of us who were leaving in morning. Would recommend if you are taking ferry to Kusadasi or don't want to stay in beach town. Local bus takes you to most beach areas.

The main things we like about this hotel is that it facilitated all of our needs and was a good location. The great thing about this establishment is its owners. What lovely and welcoming people. We received a map with personal recommendations which for us mapped out a quality itinerary that represented the true essence of the island. From cute secluded beaches to the steki taverna. We had an amazing time here and felt at home and at ease knowing we would return there every night. It was a little over our budget as backpackers but we saved money from the recommendations we received, steering us away from the tourist trail a little.

The owner of this family run hotel is a really nice person and he likes to talk. He tries to please the guests beyond all expectations. But the hotel needs some repairs. The AC in my room was very old and it didn't work properly, which in August can represent a serious drama. Nevertheless, I will recommend this little hotel in Samos center.

Hotel is located just 5mins walk from the waterfront in a quiet neighborhood. Comfy bedroom, pristine communal areas and lovely sunny garden and balconies for relaxing during siesta time. Superb breakfast and charming owner who makes you feel at home. Highly recommended!

Stayed for 2 nights in transit from Athens to Kusadasi. Owner helpful in providing local information and bus schedules to local areas. Hotel very convenient to ferry. Directions: after leaving ferry and turn right onto the main road walk past two pedestrian streets and turn left on the first street that allows vehicles (Emily Hotel has a sign on a building at the street). Walk up the street to a fork in the road and follow the road up the hill to the hotel.

Emily was a short walk from the ferry and perfectly situated to Explore Vathy. The owner was very helpful with orientation to the town and island, and getting a rental car for our friends. He gave us tea on arrival and made us a special breakfast. Not fancy, but a fine little hotel.

I stayed at Hotel Emily in February 2010. From the moment i passed through the door and was greeted by the gentlman, the service never stopped. He spoke perfect English and Greek. He has built his hotel around a home away from home idea, where any questions you have and any services you require are taken care of immediately. The Hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood up the hill away from the noisy main street. The room was prepared well and had a nice terrace and windows allowing plenty of natural sun light in. Over all my experience at Hotel Emily was fantastic, I will definitely return again. I would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone who wants to visit Samos and feel at home.
