Perfect hotel in Naxos Town- between the harborside restaurants and Saint George Beach, each being only a very short walk away, we are in our 70s, loved beach and town-George and his wife are gracious hosts-provide helpful advice- everything very clean- breakfast contains variety of cakes and foods--endless coffee- highly recommend- we were there in oct, so quiet at night- fabulous value-for price- no elevator so if steps an issue, book reception floor- would return again if ever in Naxos- top notch family run hotel- where you are a friend as well as a guest

Stayed here 6 nights and was very comfortable. We had the top floor room with balcony overlooking the beach and sea. The patio was lovely. We enjoyed wine overlooking the sea and sunset every evening. Bedding and pillows very comfortable. There was breakfast every morning prepared on sight and it was very tasty. Daily maid service. George and his staff took very good care of us. We had to extend one night due to ferry cancellation but didn’t mind an extra night in Naxos as it is a very lovely island. We walked to many wonderful restaurants and tours. Highly recommend this hotel!


We adore this true family run Naxos boutique hotel. Location perfect a 5min wander from town, rooms perfect with a great bed, wonderful shower and everything you need. Cleanliness tip-top and a super home cooked breakfast, all for exceptional value. George, Manolis and family cannot work harder, recommend great places to eat and visit and make you feel like home. This hotel is at the end of the town, and very close to the beach. It is also surrounded by restaurants and shops close by.

We received a warm welcome by the host and were given all the local information that we needed.

The rooms are extremely clean and well maintained. The breakfast was the best we had during our two week tour of the Greek islands, the choice is amazing!

The only downside was that the sink was in the room, not bathroom so little privacy when washing, and there is little hanging space for clothing.

This hotel however, is good value and I would certainly return.

Everything about this hotel and our stay there was delightful. Staff and management are first rate. Naxos is a marvellous island and hotel Galini reflects this.
We stayed in a panoramic sea view room. Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Hotel Galini is the perfect place to stay. My husband and I were very comfortable in the sweet bohemian styled room. We were able to chill out on the balcony overlooking the turquoise sea which was only steps away. Wonderfully located, close to the town of Naxos. The owners also took care of us by sharing the places we needed to see on this special island.

If I could give Hotel Galini more than five stars, I absolutely would. This charming, family-run hotel completely exceeded our expectations and made our stay in Naxos unforgettable.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with the kind of warmth and hospitality that makes you feel instantly at home. The staff, especially the owners, are incredibly gracious and go above and beyond to make sure every guest is comfortable and happy. They even greeted us with fresh lemonade and offered helpful tips for exploring the island like a local.

The location is unbeatable – just a couple of minutes’ walk from St. George Beach and a short stroll to the heart of Naxos Town. It’s peaceful and quiet at night, yet perfectly central for all your adventures.

Our room was spotless, tastefully decorated, and had a lovely balcony view. The beds were comfortable, the shower had great pressure, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver on hot days.

But the true standout? The homemade breakfast. Every morning felt like waking up to a traditional Greek feast – fresh fruits, homemade jams, warm pastries, and the most delicious yogurt and honey you’ll ever taste. It was a highlight of our trip.

Hotel Galini isn’t just a place to stay – it’s a place that stays with you. The combination of authentic charm, impeccable cleanliness, unbeatable location, and heartfelt hospitality makes this a true treasure in Naxos. We’re already dreaming of our return!

Lovely property just outside of town. Right next to a beach and a 5-10 minute walk into town. Very clean and modern, spacious room. Staff were really helpful and breakfast was very nice too. We would stay here again.

Very, very convenient to the downtown to all the restaurants to the port other side of the hotel was the beach many restaurants, much beach perfect location go there and the people were very accommodating. Couldn’t help you enough.

This family run hotel has very friendly and helpful staff! The breakfasts are wonderful, so many delicious options. We enjoyed the quiet location between Naxos harbour & restaurants and St George’s beach. We highly recommend!

Pretty Hotel, decent breakfast. Our room was small, but quiet and clean. It's almost on the waterfront.

Great location right by the beach and our room had water views off of our patio. The owner was very nice and went out of his way to give us amazing dining options and things to do/see during our stay.

I think this will be my new go to hotel when I visit Naxos. I usually have stayed at the same place each time I visit, but Galini has changed my opinion. This is a beautiful hotel and a very convenient location, close to the port, but just far enough away from the chaos. Walkable to everything, and the family that owns. It is very helpful in whatever you may need. When you check in, you get a great breakdown of recommendations for places to go, eat, and any other questions you may have. Highly recommend, and I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

We stay 4 nights at hotel Galini and we loved our stay. Close to tourist area, and steps away from the beach. The area was safe, breakfast was delicious and service top noch. George is friendly and helpful with anything one needs. I would definite stay here every time I visit Naxos.

I cannot recommend Hotel Galini more. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. We had the private roof top terrace room with panoramic views of the sea and beach, it was lovely. Great location to easily walk to the beach or town, but still insulated from the late night sounds Naxos Town. George (owner) was so friendly and helpful. From making dinner, car and day cruise reservations for us, to providing recommendations for sightseeing around the island and more, he went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience on the island. Also, believe the comments about the breakfast, very impressive spread. Dozens of local fresh made delicacies were available everyday. My wife and I hope to visit again soon.

We loved loved this quaint hotel. We had adjoining rooms so our kids slept in the room with 3 beds ages 17/20/22 and then me and my partner slept in the other room. We had 2 bathrooms which was convenient and a beautiful patio overlooking the parking lot and ocean. Also the air conditioner worked great! This is important as some say they have it but it doesn’t work well! We could watch the sunset on a little hill if we wanted although we watched it in many places. There is a great beach just down the street with amazing food and chairs. We had Marius and he was so pleasant.
We loved the breakfast in the morning that was an extra bonus and the owners go over the whole island with you and help you navigate what you want to do. Thank you for being so welcoming.

Galini is a great, small family owned hotel near St George beach on Naxos. My room was very clean, had a nice small balcony with view over a little chapel and the sea. The family welcomes you with a lot of information about the area, restaurants… They are very proud about local products and serve a fantastic breakfast buffet. There was a relaxing, vacation vibe and I had a great time. Location is very close to the beach, the ferry ( walkable) and Naxos town centre.
