Highly recommend , great place, very comfortable
Very nice room with all facilities. Breakfast super ... and position top, very cose to Mirabell palace, restaurants and bus for the airport!
This hotel was excellent , we cannot fault it , it was the first time we have been to an hotel with no reception but it worked great.
Once you have booked in prior to your stay you are given a pin which you use to get into your room, no cards to go wrong or lose.
Highly recommended
We had a really lovely stay at Numa Mozart Salzburg. The rooms were beautiful, spotlessly clean, and very well decorated, with a modern yet warm feel. Everything was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out, which made a big difference when travelling as a family. We booked two rooms for our family of four and found it worked perfectly, giving everyone enough space to relax without feeling cramped. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were quiet, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and welcoming after busy days exploring Salzburg. The property is well maintained and feels carefully managed, with attention to detail throughout. Overall, it was an excellent base for our stay and we would happily choose Numa Mozart again if we return to Salzburg.
The room is good! Everything from the checking in to amenities are good. Highly recommend! Will certainly stay again if I come. The area is walkable and safe. Many food around the area. Easy assessable and navigate.
the room is big and beautiful. It has a little frigde, coffe machine and water heater. the lugagge stores were all full when I arrive.
The room is perfectly organised, very clean and very quite
The hotel is very close to Mirabell Palace and Garden, you can easily go by foot to the old town and cathedral and is located in a very safe neibourhood with direct conection (max 30 min depending on traffic) from the Airport (bus nr.2, for 2.5 Euros/pers]
I felt safe, I coul rest, enjoy the city.
On Thursdays there is a local market not far from the hotel where you can taste, see and experience the Austrian spirit, cuisine and products! I will be back!
Beautiful hotel with very clean rooms. Check in/checkout was a breeze. The location was only about 5 minutes from the palace.
Beautiful room, clean and quiet. We were
The hotel is on the corner easy 10 min walk from the train station.
The lockers were easy to use and held a big suitcase each and a back pack so you can explore the sights before checking in if you arrive early.
The code was easy to use and gets you into the front door then your room .
Their is an essential closest for more towels and coffee etc that you can help yourself to
There is a lift to take up we were located on level 1 room 101 a little noisy as it was by the stairs and the left. Probably would avoid that one if you can
The room however was spacious we had a large room enough space for 2 adults. It had a small shower and toilet
We were out exploring so no need to hang out in the room .
Salzburg has a lot to offer. Would highly recommend the sound of music tour
The area around the hotel was nice and very walkable to local sights. The bed was very uncomfortable and there was very limited storage in the bathroom. As it does have a reception it is difficult to get information about the area or communicate about room.
Great hotel close to the main attraction areas
Three night stay. Never got email re access pin to check in, but easily done (in the rain) outside the door. There is no front desk or staff.
15 minute walk from train station.
Got the large room with corner windows, nice view, beautifully furnished room, with fridge, teas, coffee. And a Mozart bust!
Good location - 2 blocks from Linzergasse, a main walking street down to the river. Restaurants, shops, pharmacy, groceries all nearby. Quiet at night. Only caveat is no info on emergency services if needed - communication via chatbot or what’s app. Felt isolated that way.
Otherwise a great place to stay while enjoying Salzburg!
room s great and so clean.very modern
Beautiful room - would definitely seek out another Numa property to stay in preferentially in another city
Had a terrible experience at this property and would not recommend it.
I arrived at 4 PM on a Sunday, well before the stated 6 PM closing time of the front desk. The property had even texted me earlier asking if I would arrive before 6 PM, otherwise they would send me a passcode. I confirmed I’d be there before 6, but when I arrived the front desk was already closed and no one was present to assist instead I received a code to check myself in.
The main issue, however, was the bathroom. The layout I received looked nothing like what was advertised online. The toilet was crammed directly in front of the shower glass, leaving no space to place my feet properly — an unusable and completely misleading setup compared to the photos. This is why I immediately requested a full refund and booked another hotel the same day.
From 4 PM to 5:55 PM, I waited for text replies with no real help. At 5:55 PM, I finally got someone on the phone who said a colleague would call me back in 10 minutes — but no one ever did. After 6 PM, I occasionally received calls from their number, but each time I answered, the line disconnected. At several points, I was stuck in the call waiting room for 10–20 minutes with no one ever picking up. On WhatsApp, the support team ended the chat, triggering a customer survey instead of providing help. It felt as if they simply did not want to deal with the situation.
When I pointed out that the bathroom situation was false advertising, they proceeded to blame Booking.com, claiming it was the platform’s fault for the misleading images. In reality, the property is responsible for uploading accurate room photos and descriptions, so this excuse is entirely unacceptable. It felt as if they simply did not want to deal with the situation.
While this whole situation was going on I was not in the room — I went out for dinner till 8pm not wasting my precious holiday. I would have checked out immediately if it weren’t for the long wait for their response, which never came. This caused another issue: the system wouldn’t let me check out because it was a “web code” style check-out, and they claimed no staff were available to verify the room was empty. Effectively, this could have forced me to pay for a night I did not actually stay in.
The only “compensation” offered was a 10% refund plus 15% off a future stay. Why would I ever stay here again after being misled by false photos and ignored by customer service, let alone pay the remaining 85%?
Conclusion: This property has misleading advertising, unreliable service, and no functional 24/7 support. I checked out the same day I arrived, booked another hotel, and still had to fight for even a partial refund. I am still in the process of requesting a refund (this matter deserves a full refund) and the matter has not been resolved, but I strongly suggest avoiding this property — do not take the risk.
P.s. attached is the photo of the bathroom for the actual hotel room in comparison to the one advertised on booking sites.
The hotel was a nice area but there is no one on the property if there are issues so you are on your own.
The extra large room was perfect for three adults, lots of space. Good location near to bus stops but walkable to the old town and plenty of restaurants nearby. Great mountain views from our room on the top floor. Digital check-in worked well with good communication. Clean towels etc freely available from cupboard. Very quiet inside. Only downside was that the sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable but otherwise would definitely recommend.
A great hotel for a weekend break. The room was clean and well designed. WiFi was excellent. Would recommend for family and couples.
The room came with air conditioning unit which given the hot weather was really handy, the staff were friendly
