Hotel in tollem Ambiente
Pros:

Das Besondere ist das Hotel selber: direkt am am See gelegen mit Blick auf die Berge und einem großen etwas verwilderten Schlosspark. Ein echtes Erlebnis ist das Frühstück im Saal des alten Schlossgebäudes. Die Qualität des Frühstücks ist hervorragend. Sehr bequeme Betten.

Cons:

Wir wurden vom Hotel leider nicht über die Salzburg Mobility Card für die Benutzung des öffentlichen Nahverkehrs informiert, bzw. wurde diese uns nicht gegeben. Dass es diese gibt, haben wir leider erst hinterher erfahren - sie wäre nützlich gewesen.

Pros:

Local maravilhoso, quarto muito confortável e conta com ar condicionado. Fica distante do centro e pontos turisticos, mas a beleza do lugar compensa. Café da manhã bom , não possui restaurante mas tem um pequeno café que ajuda um pouco a noite. Hotel tem bicicleta para emprestar , foi mto agradavel andar pela redondeza pedalando. Ah, quem se hospeda tem acesso ao castelo livremente , muito bacana. Super recomendo a experiencia do lugar.

Beautifully preserved and maintained . Superb location . Staff extremely friendly and helpful at all times.

Cons:

Loved the property but if I had to make a comment : short walk to breakfast in the rain to the palace however umbrellas were provided to help . I would have liked to see more tea bags and milk provided in the room.

Gorgeous setting a must for Sound of Music fans
Pros:

The setting was beautiful

Cons:

Unfortunately we had a power cut and left in the dark literally, in our room
Some emergency lighting would have been necessary,
There was no communication from reception as to the issue so my husband went to reception to find out
This was a one off event but the hotel should have an emergency plan in place for power cuts in the city

Beautiful "Sound of Music"-castle
Pros:

The castle is in a beautiful place by the water. Don't forget to walk or bike around the lake. The annex, where the hotel rooms are, is quiet and peaceful. The breakfast is abundant and served in the castle. Sit on the large balcony if possible - the view of Untersberg is stunning. If you are a fan of "Sound of Music" - this is the place to be. Many scenes were filmed in the garden by the water (but no filming inside).

Cons:

Before you arrive, check if there is a wedding or other event booked. If so, you might not be allowed to visit the main garden, only the small garden outside the annex.
