A special location but basic level of care by the company
Pros:

Beautiful location with lake creating lovely view. The breakfast was good and it was special having this in the very grand palace. Sparkling water on tap was very welcome. Staff in bar were very attentive

Cons:

The room in the annex building was small and supplied in a very basic way ( e.g no coffee machine, very few tea bags). Sheet on bed seemed to be nylon but when we asked for a cotton sheet housekeeping staff did give us cotton duvet covers to lay on which made it much more comfortable. Just all felt a but penny pinching for such a special place. Staff were helpful when asked but very light touch with info e.g facilities weren’t pointed out, no map, not clear where we could walk in the grounds… all things it would take little effort or expense to provide

Enchanting stay
Pros:

A beautiful hotel in a charming location. You can easily walk to the Old Town and Fortress. The dining room and library are spectacular. The staff is helpful and professional.

I loved staying at this beautiful property because of its' connection to the Sound of Music.
Pros:

The location is lovely, especially for a fan of the Sound of Music. I enjoyed wandering through the main house and learning about Max Reinhardt and the history of the property. The breakfast buffet had a variety of delicious offerings. The staff recommended Strasserwirt for dinner which was close by with traditional Austrian fare and friendly staff. We were also glad to have access to bicycles to travel to the Old Town and using the bus was also convenient.

Cons:

I don't have any complaints.

לפני שעשינו צ׳ק אין ביקשתי לשנות את ההזמנה שלנו. אני מציינת שההזמנה שלנו הייתה עם אפשרות ביטול. בדלפק הפקידה בדלפק אמרה ליצור קשר עם בוקינג. עשיתי כדבריה ויצרתי קשר שלושה פעמים עם מוקד שירות הלקוחות של בוקינג.דירתי עם חמדי ועם אינאס ועם עוד מישהו …. שכחתי את השם שלו. בית המלון טען שבוקינג לא יצרה קשר איתם.
בוקינג שלחו לי מייל אחרי השיחה הראשונה ואמרו שתוך שעתיים תהיה לי תשובה. תשובה לא הגיעה בכלל.
בקשר לבית המלון החדר היה נקי . הפרוזדורים לא. אין בו ערכאות של ציוד הגיינה או נעלי בית כנהוג בבתי מלון 5 כוכבים.

Cons:

The staff could be nicer - they were quite dismissive of us and didn't even try to accommodate our request. The breakfast food was okay.
