Magnificient castle, the view was amazing and everyone has been very kind.
It was the whole 'Sound of Music' experience we went for and we weren't let down. However, the Hotel is much more than just that. Breakfast room was outstanding and the breakfast amazing. All in all great value and beautiful surroundings
Can't think of a single thing
Absolutely stunning property and grounds, steeped in history and breathtaking views over the lake. Enjoying breakfast in a marble ballroom was an incredible experience, we could have sat there for hours just taking our surroundings in!

Breakfast was brilliant, a good choice, room was good as well. The location is about a 35 Miniute walk to the city centre.
The only thing that we found not good was the disabled lift that took you down to the bar was locked out of action one side and it was filled with building equipment as was the exit area in the lounge. My wife had the difficult task of using about 5/6 steps

Short half hour walk into Salzburg, superb views and fantastic location. Peaceful and quiet. Staff excellent, Meirhof bar great for relaxation and having quiet dtink
Only thing missing is no evening meals at location.

I wouldn't stay in room 110 again as like my window open but was over reception entrance so could hear people /vehicles coming and going. Would be good if there was a restaurant as you could only get bar snacks in the evening so had to go out

Incredible! Stayed in the Max Reinhardt suite with a wonderful view of the lake, absolutely incredible and full of history.
Although the hotel was undergoing renovations the staff worked to make the stay memorable, loved it so much we booked for next year!
Es war sehr gemütlich, ruhig und zu meist auch sauber. Die Getränke und das Frühstück waren sehr gut und die Räume sind ein Traum. Das Personal ist sehr Freundlich und kompetent.
Die Aussicht war direkt auf den Parkplatz und für ein anderes Zimmer hätten wir ca. 200€ mehr zahlen müssen. Die Gläser im Zimmer waren nicht wirklich gereinigt und die Couch war leider etwas zu klein.
