A little bit of luxury with excellent overall service and beautifully decorated and furnished bedrooms.

Nice location
Pros:

The view, it is an old hotel refurbished and it has certain charme. I stayed for 8 days, and may be it is a bit long.

Cons:

. I tried to let some tip for the mais and I am pretty sure that the guy who want to check the minibar, and took some shampooing I left, collected the money. I am really dissapointed about that. They are repairing everything all the time but some things need to be completely refurbished like TV and security box, which do not work.

A property in need of renovation and professional management
Pros:

The location in the heart of Alexandria.

Cons:

The hotel is in poor condition and needs urgent renovation. The elevator doors are fitted with springs to shut them down making it very difficult to get in or out especially with luggage.

The rooms are smelly and once the windows are open it becomes too noisy.

Fabulous four night stay. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Pros:

The old world charm of this hotel. Very parisian. All the staff were very welcoming and the breakfast spread and dinner options were of the highest quality. The location along the Alexandrian waterfront provided a great outlook.

Cons:

Some of the facilities were in need of an update but the bathrooms had been renovated and for a hotel of this vintage you have to expect some creaking floorboards.
