Anema By The Sea Guesthouse

This is a super little no frills hotel, rooms simply decorated, slightly tired, spacious but very clean. Lovely pool area, decent pool bar, easy access to the beach. Harbour and town are a short walk away. Mercini on Reception is an absolute star, and made us feel so welcome and helped us with local information, booking taxis and she was always interested in how we'd got on every day. We asked if we could keep the room for late checkout, and they accommodated us with no problem and no additional charge. In all, we had a fabulous short stay here, and would thoroughly recommend.

Great no fuss family hotel at an excellent location with very nice views. Nice breeze throughout the day and night, we managed to explore all of Samos from here. Staff are exceptional, especially the ladies at reception, who made us feel more like family than mere guests.

The hotel is beautifully located near the sea, just between Karlovasi Port and Karlovasi village, both at walking distance. The hotel is simple yet comfortable and very clean. Good tasty breakfast with many options. The pool is nice and never over crowded with enough sun beds and there is a poolbar opened from 10 in the morning till midnight where the lovely and kind ladies serve the best cocktails with a smile. People are all very kind, also the cleaning staff, the manager and the ladies of the reception. Every morning we were welcomed very friendly by the lady at the reception, providing us with al kinds of suggestions to visit on the island and the next day she would be very interested to hear our experiences. The restaurant next to the hotel, Meltemia, has a splendid view with the best sunset and also very kind staff. Samos is a beautiful island to visit.

The rooms are big and I had a very big balcony. The hotel WiFi doesn’t really work. Anytime I would connect, my device would drop off when I try to do anything. Not ideal if you want to remote work. The beds were really hard too, woke up with back pain and a headache. The breakfast was good and there is pool if you don’t want to swim in the sea. The resort is very quiet and relaxing.

The best hotel in Karlovasi. Very nice hotel, clean rooms, very kind, nice, helpful and friendly people. Special thanks to Mersini and George. The hotel is an amazing place to stay there, right on the beach, near the wonderful mountains. An ideal location to spend nice time with the amazing sunset and very goog location alsow for walking and hiking with beautiful panorama view on the sea and mountains. The Anema by the sea hotel serves delicious breakfasts every day and has the restaurant Ta Meltemia by the sea with amazing food. There are a nice swimming pool, a pool bar and a small laundry room. This year the hotel changed mattresses and pilows which are incredibly comfortable. I always feel there like at home with a special romantic atmosphere. I miss this place and people and can`t wait the next time to be there. I love it. 🥰

This hotel is close to everything. It is a bit outdated but all facilities work and the staff is friendly. Its really a relax hotel. Freedom at top! Basic breakfast but enough choices. Pool is great and really at sea! Just across the street. We only took breakfast but it is also possible to include diner. We didnt do this as within half a mile there are at least 20 restaurants if not more.

Die Zimmer wurden sehr gut gereinigt, oft neue Hand- und Badetücher. Bettlagen wurden 1-Mal sowie bei Verschmutzung gewechselt.Top.
Frühstück war ausreichend aber 7 Tage immer das gleiche und damit sehr eintönig! Man konnte im Poolbereich frühstücken, dieser Bereich wurde nie gereinigt. Die Tische mußte man selbst reinigen. Und das in Coronazeiten.
Restaurant zum Hotel leider zu wenig original griechisches Essen > schon auf Touristen zugeschnitten. Es gab auch Schnitzel!? Dafür kein Moussaka oder ähnlich typisch Griechisches.

De kamer was simpel maar schoon en het was groot genoeg. De kookplatrn doen het niet meer, omdat Anema een hotel is geworden.
Het ontbijt is simpel, maar goed verzorgd.
Het zwembad is heerlijk en er zit een bar bij.
Het personeel is heel vriendelijk. Vooral de receptionistes en de manager zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook enorm gexellig om een praatje mee te maken.
Alles bij elkaar een heerlijk verblijf gehad.

I was able to make a very last minute reservation and the woman at the concierge desk was very kind, and accommodating. She even offered a reduced rate. Our room was clean and comfortable with a small kitchenette and excellent air conditioning. We could sit on the balcony and see the ocean. The pool was clean and wonderfully refreshing and the bartender, amazing.We ate many meals at the wonderful on-site seaside restaurant. We were in town for a wedding and really enjoyed our stay. The onsite laundromat, was very convenient too. The complimentary breakfast and morning coffee was welcome!

This hotel offers you an unforgettable and relaxing experience.The location is great,people who work there are very friendly and always ready to help you.The pool bar and the restaurant are excellent.There is a variety of traditional drinks and food.Reasonable prices and great quality.

Güleryüzlü hizmet aldık. Otel pırıl pırıl, odamız çok hoş, kahvaltı tatmin ediciydi. Fiyat kalite dengesi açısından çok iyi. Temel handikap kablosuz internet bağlantısının sadece ortak alanlarda var olmasıydı.

This hotel is for people who like to be treated with outmost care. The personel in this hotel really cares about their guests so you feel at home.
The rooms are large and the restaurant - located literally at the beach - is just great with fresh seafood, well roasted meat and lots of well-prepared vegetables and Greek cheese.

Now, this is a BUDGET hotel, so keep the "score" in mind. . . because the beds are only sleep'able, warm-only morning shower (get up earlier!), very spartan . . . So, why a 5? Incredibly friendly staff - love 'em. . . great family swimming pool with excellent outdoor bar . . . spartan but VERY, VERY clean; free, decent breakfast . . . nice view of ocean (book early & get a "front" balcony room; WALK just across the street to an open air restaurant ON the ocean with fabulous food, great prices. Free, easy parking! Check out the pet turtles!!

Perfect week in Anema in Karlovasi. Hotel is hidden between other buildings so you have privacy. Rooms aren´t much modern but never mind. You spend a lot of time near by Pool bar with kind bartenders. All staff are talkative and people in Anema will help you if you need.
Food is fresh from own kitchen. There are about three choices which you can eat.
Anema has a great location. You can go to port, Karlovasi town, Potami...everything by short walk. Beaches are near, you can choose your favorite. Nice sunsets.

The service is very friendly and welcoming, but the hotel was very outdated, the outside pool chairs were not clean at all, and the WiFi did not work at all.

Amazing staff and a lovely clean hotel. Great food choices and great portions too on the hotel?s restaurant Meltemia. Staff couldn't do enough for you. All so lovely. The best part was an all around warm, friendly environment.

The hotel is very nice, our room was big and clean, with a great view of the pool and the sea.
The staff is polite and helpful, also there is a parking nearby.
I didn't like very much the breakfast, the facility would need a bit of upgrade and the wifi reception is pretty bad, but overall is a nice hotel, close to the port and the city of Karlovasi.
Pricing is good.
