Spacious rooms, pleasant, polite, and friendly communication, but what was especially important and pleasantly surprising were the incredibly comfortable beds: the mattress and pillows were so good that I slept like a baby — which is quite rare for me.
Also nearby railway and bus station, but quite. Easy access to the old town
Friendly staff, very convenient to both bus and train station
24 uurs receptie, vlakbij vliegveld en prijs-kwaliteitverhouding
Geluiden door treinen en personeel op terras.
The only positives we can mention are the friendly staff and the location near the bus and train station, which might be convenient if you have an early departure.
This was one of the worst experiences we have had. The interior is very outdated (it might appeal to fans of a 90s style), and while we could overlook the old decor and lack of cleanliness, the biggest issue was the strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room.
It felt like being in a “smoking room” — whether the smell is deeply absorbed into the furniture or coming from elsewhere, it made the stay extremely uncomfortable. It was impossible to properly air out the room, and instead of rest, it felt like a real ordeal.
We would never want to experience something like this again, especially not for such a high price.
I chose this hotel because it was next door to the bus station. I had been traveling quite a bit and was so tired I didn't leave my room for two days. I arrived about 1 am and check in was easy and I quickly got to my room.
The hotel offered a small breakfast but I needed rest more than food. I did try it on my last day and it was an average Balkan breakfast.
Before I left I almost forgot my coat and the cleaning lady ran out to catch me. While unpacking in Budva I realized I had left behind a cube of necessary clothes and contacted the hotel. They would keep the bag for me until I could return a few days later. The country is so beautiful I did not mind the round trip bus ride enjoying the mountain scenery.
The mattress seemed old and not too comfortable on the right side but I switched over to the left side near the wall and it was much more comfortable and I could rest well.
The other issue was the entire hotel reeks of cigarette smoke. I kept my window open the whole time for the fresh air which helped some but in the Balkans cigarette smoke inside buildings is considered normal even if it's not allowed in other countries.
I'm sure there are hotels that would never allow this even in Podgorica.
We loved the old fashioned personal connection. They had room service and menu with prices. The restaurant was many rooms with traditional decor and local art and the food was local with older staff and young who worked there with a trust that they would work there for a long time. The local taxi drivers stopped there for coffee. This is a local institution that has been part of this wonderful city for a long time. We're coming back.
We really can't think of what could have been better. We're from Canada and it was just wonderful to discover this hotel.
Fin-fint hotell. Hyggelig personale og topp med bar/restaurant i kjelleren.
Litt dårlig vanntrykk i dusjen.
Prijatno okruženje, izuzetan odnos kvaliteta i cene.
Odliĉna lokacija.
El personal es muy amable y está muy limpio
Las instalaciones comunes huelen mucho a cigarro
Within 15 minute drive to airport. Restaurant with good food right on premises. Room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed.
Smokers are everywhere but not in the rooms thankfully.
Friendly staff, good quiet location.
Charming decor. Nice big room with blinds so it could be completely dark at bedtime.
Parking right outside the hotel in booths.
The breakfast was very uninspired, we recommend getting this meal outside the hotel.
Creo que lo mejor del hotel fue el personal que trabaja en el hotel.
La habitación era demasiado pequeña.
מלון נחמד, היינו שם לילה אחד, הצוות נחמד
הזרם במקלחת היה גרוע
Location at walking distance from bus station, cozy spacious room, great breakfast, very helpful staffs, all the facilities are available great value for money
Although the hotel is aged, the receptionist and the bar man "Boris" made the stay worth while. The hotel was in a fantastic location, train and bus station across the road. Very easy to walk into town lots of restaurants to choose from
Dinner at the hotel was really nice.
The air-conditioning units can be noisy.
