Captain's Hotel

The friendly staff at reception and throughout the hotel. The buffet breakfast was good. The lobby was clean and welcoming.

A szállás nagyon jó lokációval rendelkezik, a legközelebbi strandtól és a kikötőtől kb 6-8 perc sétára. A közelben több étterem, kisebb szupermarket is megtalálható. A reggeli minden nap ugyanaz volt, nekünk megfelelt, ezekből próbáltunk változatosan étkezni. A szoba hűtőszekrénnyel, hajszárítóval felszerelt, a fürdőszoba felújított és modern. Minden nap cserélték a szemetest, és a takarítás is megfelelő volt. Rendelkezésre állt lift, a földszinten lévő bárban lehetett fogyasztani italt/koktélt. A medence tiszta volt, bár egy kicsit hideg. A személyzet rendkívül kedves és segítőkész. A hotel előtti kisebb, nyilvános parkolóban tudtuk hagyni a bérelt autónkat.

Persone tanto carine, gentilissimi tutti. Colazione semplice ma buona, lo yogurt greco eccezionale. A pochissimi minuti dal centro e dalla spiaggia quindi ottima soluzione.

Captain's is a good value budget hotel for a short stopover. We have stayed here several times since 2014 and will do so again. Since our last stay the bathrooms have been lifted from their 70s glory (avocado toilet) to something more modern, the shower is now much better. Unfortunately our stay this time around was some what shortened due to ferry chaos between the south Aegean islands, not the hotels fault of course. We arrived at 04.30 hrs on what should have been our second day. The man on reception was a little bemused to see us burst into the hotel in the early hours, only to be expected in the circumstances. However I had contacted the hotel to tell them of our late arrival so maybe he should have been more aware. As we had to depart around 20.00 hrs the same day all we really wanted to do was sleep, but it was a bit noisy during the day. But the hotel is only a few steps from what in our opinion is the best taverna in Kos (probably the best in all the Dodecanese) and a visit there for a mid-day meal lifted our spirits. It's not located on the same street as Captain's Hotel, but walk back toward the centre of Kos town and it's on your right! The lady on duty during the day remembered us from previous visits which was a nice touch.

Great location, clean and welcoming with air conditioning and a room safe. It’s in the middle of an urban area which might not suit everyone but we were more than happy. 10 minute walk and you’re at the harbour. For the price we paid we can’t complain. Staff were very attentive. Breakfast was fine and plentiful and we ate outside on the terrace, which was nice!. The pool was pretty cold but refreshing once you were in and a welcome oasis in the heat of the day.

Great location, walkable distance to everything in Kos town. 5 min to the beach area, 5 min to the center. Loads of restaurants and shops nearby. At the same time its in the quiet residential area.
Hotel sharing pool with nearby hotel. Very helpfull and friendly staff members. Room was a bit shabby, need renovation. Same for the bathroom. But its clean and does the job. Balcony with siting chairs and table is a plus. As well as fridge, tv etc.. Price reflects everything. Not a very romantic place ro stay, but for couple of nights it ok.

La stanza era sempre pulita ma un po' piccola. La struttura si trova vicino alle spiagge, stabilimenti e locali principali raggiungibili comodamente a piedi in meno di 10 minuti e il parcheggio per l'auto all'esterno è sempre disponibile. Il personale era gentile e cortese.
