all in all, the hotel offers a very pleasant and comfortable stay and deserves the high price
Pros:

I read in a previous review by a hotel guest that it was an “old fashion hotel” as a flaw, but in fact it is a virtue. Spacious, clean hotel, with large rooms. The hotel has the best possible location in Bar, morning coffee on the beautiful terrace is a real experience. Breakfast is very good. The large outdoor pool will satisfy every swimmer. The staff is very friendly, hardworking, we did not have the slightest problem during our stay. The hotel is highly recommended

Cons:

a 4 star hotel could have more little things in the bathroom, hair conditioner, body cream, the room lacks a kettle for those who like to drink coffee early. The hotel has enough space for a small gym. Breakfast is excellent, dinner could be better

4 star hotel not comparable to UK standard, not worth the money in our opinion!
Pros:

The children loved the pool although it was very busy at times, mostly with lots of children and swimming coaching/lessons. I witnessed one child getting out of the pool to use the side filter/grate to go to the toilet, nobody chastised her for doing so!

Cons:

The staff were inattentive and verging on rude, asked in pool bar for a drink to be told they would serve my table waited over half an hour and still no drinks, so I left. I felt they weren’t very friendly to English speakers. Breakfast service was better but still not much interaction with staff.

Perfect location in Bar!
Pros:

Property is absolutely perfect location. We stayed here before boarding our cruise ship and could walk to the Greek church, the palace, the ship/port. But our favorite part was the evening promenade- couldn’t pick a better spot to see the evening come alive with locals and visitors!! Beautiful spot near the beach.
Great breakfast too!!

Cons:

We would have liked more beach view when paying more for that type room.

Enjoyable, comfortable stay in Bar - I would gladly return
Pros:

- I loved my room (single with partial sea/mountain view) which had a very comfortable bed and a fabulous view. Despite being a very light sleeper I slept extremely well for all three nights of my stay (which is very unusual for me!). I was worried that the slight noise from generators outside might disturb my sleep but with the balcony door closed it was really not a problem.
- Breakfast was really nice - I enjoyed the selection of cheeses, salads, grilled vegetables, different types of bread, fruit etc. Only thing I didn't like that I tried was scrambled egg.
- Staff - Mostly very friendly and helpful, some with quite a dry sense of humour. I was very grateful to the lady on reception who kindly helped me recharge my devices when I'd brought the wrong charger.
- Surroundings - the hotel grounds are lovely and the walkway alongside the sea is lovely for an evening walk before and after dinner. The beach is stony (bring swim shoes) but when I was there the sea was very clear for swimming.
- Convenient location - it is not far from the center of Bar and to go further afield (to bus/train station) you can ask reception to call you a taxi or just walk a couple of minutes to the taxi stand. I found Bar a good base for visiting Virpazar/Lake Skadar, Ulcinj, and Stari Bar by bus/train and it was always nice to get back to the hotel after a day of sightseeing.

Cons:

- There was a slight mishap with the airport transfer I'd organised from Podgorica airport and I couldn't find the driver. That said, I'm not sure what caused the issue, and in the end it wasn't such a big deal as there is a very prominent "official taxi" desk when you come out of arrivals.
- The pool could get a bit crowded (Sunday afternoon it was very full), but I never had a problem finding a sunbed.
- A small thing but I would have appreciated an iron in the room (I think ironing facilities were listed among the room facilities but there were none in the room itself so maybe worth bringing a travel iron if it's important to you).

Pros:

Good value for money. I liked the breakfast, and the location. Also the staff were helpful. The view from the balcony was fantastic.
