Hilton markasına güvenerek geldik, hayal kırıklığı yaşayarak ayrıldık.

Türkiye’den Karadağ’a katıldığımız basketbol turnuvasında konaklama için Hilton Podgorica’yı tercih ettik. Açıkçası bugün dönüp baktığımda bunun doğru bir tercih olmadığını düşünüyorum.

Rezervasyonumuzda özellikle 4 adet 3 kişilik ve 3 adet 2 kişilik oda talep ettik. Planlamamızı da, ödememizi de buna göre yaptık. Ancak otele giriş yaptığımızda tüm odaların 2 kişilik hazırlandığını gördük. Rezervasyonda açıkça belirtilmiş bir talebi sanki ilk kez duyuyorlarmış gibi defalarca anlatmak zorunda kalmamız, uzun bir yolculuğun ardından gereksiz bir stres yaşamamıza neden oldu.

Daha da ilginci, yaşanan sorun çözüldükten sonra bize “ek yataklardan ücret almıyoruz, sizin için jest yaptık” denmesiydi. Kusura bakmayın ama bu bir jest değildi. Biz zaten odaları 3 kişilik olarak rezerve etmiştik. Hatta iki odamızda ek yatak konusunda problem yaşandı. Bir odaya sonradan ek yatak getirildi, diğer oda için ise “otelimizde yeterli ek yatak kalıp kalmadığından emin değiliz” denilerek mağduriyetimiz daha da artırıldı. Rezervasyonda yer alan bir hizmetin sonradan lütuf gibi sunulması profesyonel bir yaklaşım değildir.

Ancak asıl rahatsız edici olan konu çocuklara karşı sergilenen tavırdı. Kafilemizde 12 yaşında sporcular vardı ve çocuklar sürekli antrenörleri ile velilerinin gözetimindeydi. Buna rağmen özellikle yaşça büyük olan güvenlik görevlisinin çocukları adeta gölge gibi takip etmesini, sürekli müdahale etmesini ve üzerlerinde baskı oluşturmasını anlamakta zorlandım.

Daha da kötüsü, bu yaklaşım yalnızca güvenlik görevlisiyle sınırlı değildi. Sabah kahvaltılarında restoran personelinden de benzer tavırlar gördük. Bir çocuğun elindeki basketbol topunu koltuğun üzerine bırakması üzerine “Burada topla oynanmaz” şeklinde uyarılması gerçekten anlamsızdı. Kahvaltı salonunda zaten kimse topla oynamıyordu. Çocuklarımıza yaklaşımın temelinde sürekli bir uyarı, sürekli bir düzeltme ve sürekli bir memnuniyetsizlik hissi vardı.

Quite expensive. I took a small nuts packet in the room which was charged 9 EUR. Best anyone would step down and eat. Quite surprised that a buffet breakfast cost 20 which is reasonable but a small nut packet costs 9
