Hotell som inte levde upp till förväntningarna.
Pros:

Vi hade bokat 21 dagar och kom med taxi från flygplatsen. Den lgh vi blev hänvisade till var ej beboeligt. Det luktade gammalt avlopp och balkongen vette mot baksidan var liten med 2 stolar inget bord som också skulle delas med rummet bredvid. Han som var in chargé kunde ingen engelska utan hans dotter förklara att vi fick vänta 5dagar tills managern kom. Vi gav oss inte utan var beredda att dra därifrån. Tyvärr hade vi inte fixat hyrbil ännu. Då fick vi tala med managern på telefon och han var ganska otrevlig. Efter mycket om och men skulle vi få en annan lgh mot att vi betala 200€ extra + att han ville ha hela betalningen i cash d v s 693€ + 200€. Kändes lite jobbigt då de hade mitt kortnr för debitering. Vi var trötta och ville bara landa så vi accepterade. Till råga på allt tog de 30€ för att köra oss till Utnij så vi kom åt en bankomat. Lgh vi fick var jättefin med 2 sovrum och allrum/kök. Efter 5 dagar fick vi byta till en mindre lgh också helt OK. Det som inte funkar är att man lagar inte trasiga grejer, byter inte lampor som är trasiga. Sänglamporna gick överhuvudtaget inte att koppla in. Endast ett uttag och inga skarvsladdar. Restaurangen stängde efter 1 vecka. Nya lakan fick man säga till om (15 dgr i samma), städning undermålig. Sista veckan var vi mer eller mindre ensamma och då funka ingenting. Fick ställa ut soporna i korridoren. Åker gärna tillbaka till Montenegro, dock inte de Lara.

Pros:

Hotel didn't let me pay for the room by credit card, they insisted to pay by cash.

Pros:

The photo of the building is the apartments and restaurant that sits in front of the hotel. It's a little deceptive. The listed also said that there was a balcony but there wasn't one and the hotel staff didn't seem to concerned about the error. The place was clean and the photos of the rooms accurate. Nice beach.

Nice hotel, nice environment but unfriendly stuff
Pros:

We were staying at the hotel for a week with families in two apartments. At the beginning everything seemed to be ok, the apartment was large and tidy, close to a nice beach. At the hand back we were told to pay for some damages which we did not cause, but unfortunately we did not have the evidence to prove it. The problem with the approach was not only the extremely high cost he asked for a broken fridge holder, but the behavior of the manager of the hotel. When we refused to pay, he called the police (or at least we were told he would), we were treated as criminals, he was very impolite and threatening. In the end when we paid part of the amount, because we did not want to stay any longer, he did not allow us to write in the guest book, as he said we were not their guests anymore. Despite of all these if someone wants to stay in this hotel, it is highly recommended to put it in writing at the handover if any disorder noticed to avoid similar unpleasant surprise.

Pros:

I would highly recommend this hotel! The staff were all amazing and the service was incredible. As soon as we arrived, Jasmin (the manager), came to greet us and brought us to the restaurant and gave us a welcome drink. He gave us an orientation of the hotel and told us where everything was (he also helped us carry our luggage in!) We instantly felt welcomed and at home. The hotel was very clean & well maintained and the pool was GREAT! The pool and area were kept very clean and there were more than enough sunbeds for everyone. The hotel also has space on a private beach (which is a very short walk from the hotel) and there were sunbeds and umbrellas provided there as well. The food at the restaurant was excellent and very reasonably priced. We enjoyed our time at Hotel De Lara and hope to return someday.
