Mr rafaat is a decent guy and helpful however the issue

The location is almost infront of the sea, a lot of places are nearby, the staff are very helpful and friendly too, the building is old but they kept it very clean from the inside as much as possible.

Very nice place the hotel is quite and comfortable the rooms is very clean the staff is friendly the breakfast is fresh and also served to the rooms ,near to the beach and corniche of Alexandria near also to Montaza palace

Very bad. Misleading information on Orbitz site including misleading photos. WiFi is not free as they promised. Terrible view and entrance.

I made a booking through Bookings.com for 2 separate rooms at a certain rate per night. The website confirmed my booking, then i arrived at the hotel about an hour later. We told the receptionist about our booking and that we would like to check the rooms before we stay. The guy took me and my female friend upstairs and showed us a Suite and he told us that our booking is for one room inside this Suite!!! And that we can choose either a single bed or double room!.. We objected this strongly and told him there must be a mistake we are not married and w booked two rooms and had a confirmation. He took us downstairs again and then there was another guy "duty manager apparently" who asked us if we are married or not and when are we checking out! We told him we are not married and we made a booking for 2 separate rooms he kept repeating his questions in a weird way and claimed that there has been an error om Bookings.com website and that they only have a request for one room, in case we need another room we will habe to pay triple the amout!!!!! Although he had a printed form paper from their system which had my name and my friends name and our info. Which proves that they have received the request. The guy kept playing with his words and manipulating us and asking us stupid questions. He said to me you can't stay here because you are Egyptian if you had any other nationality we would have tried to help you!. I've never been treated in such a shameful way. They are liars although they have good ratings on booking.com but rest assured that there's something unclear and not straight about this so called hotel!

I recently stayed at the Alexandria Mediterranean Suites. I was surprised at the great view of the Mediterranean Sea that I had from my suite. It was fantastic! The suite itself was larger than I had expected, which I appreciated, & had a lot of Old World charm. There was even a proper refrigerator where I could store my snacks & bottles of water. Fortunately, the a/c worked very well & I always slept comfortably. The owner Raafat lives on sight & is always available to help guests with whatever they need.

That is a decent hotel for families, especially that it is all apartments.
Furniture is average, location is close to the beach of Mandara, some of the apartments overlooking the sea especially those in high floors.
Hotel staff are so friendly.
It is a quite place to stay in.

We stayed at the Mediterranean Suites in January, after a three week holiday travelling around Egypt. The suite was clean and well appointed, with ocean views and breezes. Our tariff was exactly as quoted. Raafat and his staff were great in providing us with helpful hints for travelling around the region and ensuring we were not ripped off by unscrupulous locals. He was a sincere and genuine host, with happy staff, and if I return to Alexandria I will definitely be booking into to the Alexandria Mediterranean!

We stay here with my wife and kids and we really enjoy here during the stay ..the place was very close to the beach and service were great.the staff are friendly and greetful...and my 2 kids really enjoy the pool.. the room were clean and very fantastic ..the food are really delicious as well as there buffet... thank you for a very nice service , i highly recommend this place...

Forget everything there and enjoy the Mediterranean sun set and be safe

I spent my time for business and rest in Alex, always in Alexandria Mediterranean Suites, it was wonderful time, thanks to Mr. Raafat and his staff, i wish them always the best in their work and life, I am happy to know the best place for rest and work, Alexandria Mediterranean Suites - it is home away from home

Things were ok in this location. Parking can be tricky. Rooms are clean and could overlook the sea. Wi-Fi signal suck. Probably you won't have much of it. Otherwise we had no trouble. Friendly staff.

Really this apartment is more than excellent. You like ot so much and we are so happy to found this apartment during our stay in Alexandria, Egypt.
The problem it's close to school.
The staff was more than excellent and the are very polite not like other people in other hotels.
All of thenm just wait for you to say something to help. The funny thing they are not accept tips and i try to give one of the housekeeper b ecause they clean the room very well and she say that tips is not allowed during our stay but when i i will give it to the reciption... How nice. We do like it this way very good. We will stay again at mediterranean suites if we travel to alexandria in the future.

My friends and I booked a suite using Booking.com for a night at this hotel because we were planning to see the historical city of Alexandria. We somehow had a hard time looking for the hotel at first because it was located in one of the small alleys facing the corniche. However, Mr. Rafaat from the reception was kind enough to talk to our egyptian driver to guide us on our way to the hotel. We were so tired from the less than 4 hrs trip. When we arrived at the lobby, Mr. Raafat suggested that we should get 2 suites, one for men and the other for women because we were accompanied by our egyptian driver. This is a common law in Egypt. We were hesutant at first but he gave us a discount for the second suite. We paid a total of 130 dollars for the 2 suites for 1 night. We found the suites very nice. The girls picked up the suite with a nice view of the Mediterranean sea. The girls' suite consists of one master's bedroom with a bathroom and another bedroom with 2 beds. There's a big bathroom outside. A kitchen with a sink and utensils and a refrigerator, which we think was not functioning properly. We had a nice television and a dining table. Everything is complete. The boys' suite, I think, comes with more bed and more rooms, I didn't had time to check on it though. The downside is that there is a school located beside the hotel so you will hear lots of children screaming during the morning when school starts. We had generally a good experience with this hotel.

I spent end of February in Alexandria City , Alexandria Mediterranean Suites is comfortable living place, friendly stuff , always helpfull , I enjoyed my time here, Thanks to Mr. Raafat and his stuff, thank you so much

It was a nice stay i felt like home there the rooms was spacious and very comfy fully equipped from rooms to kitchens , th ecleanliness is on point the house keeping staff were so helpful and the staff in general were so friendly and like a seconed home to me i really hope to come back soon .

I spend two nights in August. The suite was nice and very clean. The personnel was friendly and helpful. My suite had a partial view to the sea but the rest as my son described was "view under construction" (a lot of buildings next to it). The reason I left was that there was no generator and due to the power blackouts at Alexandria we had to walk up and down 12 flours. The manager informed me that in the next 1-2 months they would install one.

the suite was so clean and comfortable for a family to stay. the staff were very friendly and efficient. the beach just across the street and the room had a wonderful sunset over the sea view from the balcony. we were very happy during our stay and we will go there again on our next stay in beautiful alexandria
