Hotel restaurant dress code : Daytime: Casual. As a courtesy, guests are requested to please wear a garment over their swimwear in the restaurants, reception and lobby. Evening: Casual Smart. Smart shorts and casual shoes are accepted; however, swimwear and beachwear are not allowed in the restaurants, bars, reception and lobby.
Trousers for the gentlemen are compulsory when dining at Nautic à la carte restaurant.

Very enjoyable. Relaxing and restful.
Pros:

View. Meals great. room great. Staff great.

Cons:

Beer at restaurant was 'Thirsty Fox'. Asked staff for Phoenix and they brought the beer anyway and did not tell us.
Management made sure we had an excellent packed breakfast when leaving early in the morning.

Photos trompeuses : loin du calme et de la modernité annoncés

Très bon emplacement et beaux jardins luxuriants.

Cons:

Les photos donnent une impression de calme et de modernité qui ne correspond pas à la réalité. Elles sont TROMPEUSES. Hôtel vieillissant et surtout très bruyant. Notre chambre était proche d’un équipement technique qui ronronnait en permanence, avec en plus un lit qui grinçait : nuits difficiles et peu reposantes.

Nous avons finalement écourté notre séjour d’une nuit. Malgré notre demande, Beachcomber ne nous a toujours pas répondu concernant son remboursement.

À éviter si vous recherchez des vacances au calme.

Wir waren in fünf Hotels auf der Insel, aber das hat nach unsren Erfahrungen nicht einmal 2 Sterne
Pros:

Eigentlich nichts, es ist ein Massentourismus Hotel was in der Werbung sich anders darstellt. Wir hatten eine Woche gebucht, sind nach der ersten Nacht ausgezogen und haben ein anderes Hotel kurzfristig gebucht.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war schrecklich. Im EG mit einen Kellertür versehen und direkt dahinter die Abluft der Küchen welche 20 Stunden mit voller Lautstärke im Betrieb war. Das Nachbarzimmer war nur durch eine dünne Zwischentür getrennt und man hat die Bewohner bis 1 Uhr nachts reden hören. Das Essen am Büffet war nicht gut und das Personal sehr gestresst und wirkte dadurch sehr unfreundlich. Wir hatten uns beim Kundenservice von dem Hotel beschwert und um eine Lösung gebeten, welche dann 4 Tage später geantwortet haben das es ihnen Leid tut. Da waren wir schon 3 Tage weg!

Um pedaço do paraiso e calmaria
Pros:

Tudo perfeito! Os funcionários todos simplesmente impecáveis no atendimento e muito bem treinados. As atividades disponíveis para fazer no hotel (inclusas no pacote all inclusive) são excelentes, não precisa sair do hotel para se divertir! O sanduíches e as panquecas servidos entre as refeições são muito bons para quem não quer almoçar por exemplo.

Cons:

Encontramos lagartixas e baratas no quarto, mas acredito que seja normal por ser uma ilha, para nós não teve grande impacto, mas para algumas pessoas poderia tornar a experiência ruim.

Dommage pas de piscine chauffée pour la période d'hiver. Et la porte de la chambre pas assez insonorisé on entend bcp les bruits des gens qui parlent de temps en temps.
Après niveau déco de la chambre pour un 4 étoiles il manque quelque-chose. Elle est très simple mais grande.

It was the trip of a lifetime

It felt like I was in another world, it is paradise.

Excellent rapport qualité prix
Pros:

Personnel très attentionné et attentif au détail.
Emplacement ideal.
Restauration de qualité et variée.
Nombreuses prestations et services à disposition.

Cons:

Très mauvaise insonorisation des chambres.
Concert / animation avec le son à fond jusqu'à 23h presque tous les soirs.
Heureusement qu'on avait des boules quies.

Pros:

L’emplacement - la vue de la chambre
La wifi même à la plage !

Cons:

- le buffet pas digne d’un 4* ! Vraiment très moyen
- le personnel est bof à part quelques-uns qui sont des pépites ! Mais malheureusement y’en a pas beaucoup !!
- Manque de communication - personne ne sait jamais rien.
- Ce n’est pas un vrai 4* - très cher pour la prestation.
- le restaurant c’est plutôt une cantine scolaire ! Pas insonorisé, trop de bruit. De plus, les serveurs enlèvent les assiettes alors qu’on a pas terminé !!!!! Lunaire.
- restaurant nautic : essaie de ressembler à un gastro mais ils sont loin d’en être un. + propose des vin à mini 66€ qui ne sont même pas BONS! Aucune possibilité de goûté au préalable…. On sait pourquoi !
- pas de service à la piscine - plage privé - dommage.
- cocktails très mal réalisés, ils sont vraiment pas bons. (Comparer à d’autres Beachcomber).
- Problème de Clim dans une des chambres tout le monde s’en fou.
Si vous cherchez du repos, fuyez c’est un hôtel de masse.


Quand vous allez dans un autre Beachcomber vous vous rendez bien compte de tout ce qu’il ne va pas ici !

Pros:

De beaux espaces extérieurs, jardin agréables, bonne situation pour visiter le nord de l’île. Plage agréable également.

Cons:

Le buffet est vraiment très très très décevant. Les repas ne sont pas au niveau, peu de choix et qualité décevante. Personnel pas très réactif, il faut appeler pour avoir des boissons. Des infos erronées pour la salle de sport…

Fabulous family holiday, everything you need.
Pros:

Beautiful facilities, pools and beach access with plenty of loungers. The free water activities were amazing and could be used as often as we wished. The classes provided were excellent, our yoga and Pilates instructors were superb, with regular fun activities for our teens. The food was fresh and had a great selection. Rooms were spacious with plenty of storage and comfortable beds, and cleans to a high standard daily

The location is excellent, within walking distance of the lively restaurants, bars, and shops in Grand Baie.

As honeymooners, we really appreciated the thoughtful extras. Even though we booked a half-board stay, the hotel provided complimentary lunches, a bottle of champagne, and a choice of honeymoon gifts. We chose the catamaran cruise, which was a great experience.

Despite the hotel being very busy, the buffet was always well stocked, and the food was constantly replenished, so we never had any issues. The food was good overall.

Our room and balcony had a beautiful view, the room was clean, and there was evening entertainment every night, including live music, which created a pleasant atmosphere.

Cons:

There were also a few things that could be improved. During our four-night stay, we received only one complimentary bottle of water, and it was never replenished. Unlike every other hotel we stayed at in Mauritius, the room did not include a capsule coffee machine, and we were also surprised that no slippers were provided.

One evening, our hair dryer stopped working. Although it was eventually repaired, it took some time and effort to get the issue resolved.

The hotel was generally quite noisy, especially because of other guests. As it is more affordable than many other resorts in Mauritius, the overall atmosphere and clientele felt less refined. For that reason, I would not recommend it as a particularly romantic choice for a honeymoon.

Since the hotel is located inside Grand Baie’s bay, the sea is not as beautiful as on other parts of the island. However, we already knew this before booking, so it wasn’t a disappointment. On the positive side, several excellent beaches are within walking distance or just a 10–15 minute taxi ride away.

The beach does not offer sunset views, which may be disappointing if that is something you are looking for. Finally, while the cocktails were around 20–30% cheaper than at the other resorts we visited, the quality was noticeably lower. As with the other hotels in Mauritius, all drinks during meals—including water—were charged separately.
