The service by the staff was much better than my expectations. They helped be with booking a tour guide and providing car and driver during my brief stay in Dhaka.

Another super amazing stay with the Renaissance team. As usual, their warm hospitality and going above and beyond never ceases to amaze me. The room was spacious and had all the amenities. The fruit basket was a nice touch. I had their dinner buffet, which had a lot of variety and was great value for money. Renaissance is always my go to place.
We had a wonderful stay at the Renaissance Hotel as a guest of the US Embassy. The service and hospitality were truly exceptional, making our experience both comfortable and memorable.

Location & Noise level: Nothing interesting surrounding this hotel. Nothing for me to explore or walk around this area. Extremely noise even during midnight, the cars/ from the main road keep horning hugely disturbing my sleep. Understand the culture in Dhaka is like this, but I can only say the sound proof here is terrible.
Room: One of the main reason that I booked this hotel is because bathtub is available. I also understand that not all type of room is come with bathtub, hence I purposely choose Deluxe King Room that have the bathtub option and I indicated my will in the remark. But when I arrived, the reception told me that the bathtub is not available for the type of room that I choose, never available. Ask me to top up USD200 per night if I want it. (Pls look at your description in the Trip.Biz. - attachment)
Service: Quite terrible I listed down a few incidents for you:
a) Due to this incident, I had missed the morning meeting and it need to be reschedule, waste of my time. On 16th April, when I return to my room after breakfast, I was unable to enter my room anymore. I assume it might be access card issue. I went down to the lobby but took me 15mins for your staff to serve me because only one counter open during that time. They just assume it was access card malfunction, they replace me with a new card but I was unable to open the door. I went down again and wait for another 5 mins for them to attend my issue. This time I insisted someone to accompany me and bring along technician. Took me another 15 - 20mins for them to discovered it was the battery of the door drained and fix it for me. Very inefficiency.
b) Laundry service. Every night before I back to my room, I asked and reconfirmed with the reception whether I can send my cloths for normal laundry service in between 9-10pm and the laundry can be done in the morning by 7am. Every night, your staff give me the confirmation YES. Until my last night I call for the laundry service, they give me a negative answer that they unable to do so.
c) Your housecleaning is not doing the the work well. Few minor mistake that could be avoid. They should ensure some of the most essential things in place before they leave the room. I believe one of my room slipper was kicked under the bed during their cleaning, but before they leave they did not do the proper checking on this. So obvious one slipper is missing but they did not do anything, they just tidy up the remaining single slipper and put it beside the entrance for my "easy usage". My room pen was missing since Day 2 and there was no replacement for me, I have no idea what's going on, probably under the bed again.
Even though I know their standard check-in time, and I got there a bit early, they still let me check in early, which really shows what amazing hospitality means. The check-in was smooth and well-handled. The fruit basket was a nice touch. The room was big and nicely organized. The bathroom was super clean. I was happy to get 24-hour room service with a 25% discount during happy hour, which felt really personal. It seems like Marriott actually listens to their customers. I can't imagine not coming back.

I had a good experience at the hotel. Staff is nice, courteous and aim to please. I had issues initially with my bed and cooling in the room . It was eventually sorted out. I was looking for a firm bed for my back - I beleive the hotel could have done better there. Rest was all good
An overwhelming experience to share with. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Hotel decorum is perfectly arranged. Front office staffs are truly amazing and professional enough. Food are also good and service was on time as well. Overall, a good experience to have another.
My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spotless, well appointed, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax throughout our visit. Every member of the staff was exceptionally warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile, which truly enhanced our overall experience. The atmosphere felt inviting and thoughtfully managed, and it’s clear that great care is taken to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. We would absolutely choose to stay at the Renaissance again in the future and will gladly recommend it to others.
From the very beginning to the end, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Every single person I interacted with made a genuine effort to ensure I felt welcomed, comfortable, and completely at ease, there were absolutely no exceptions. It was an entirely delightful experience, and you should feel incredibly proud of the positive, inviting culture and tone you’ve clearly established among your staff.
Stayed here before and had a good 2 nights stay this time. The stay was pleasant and generally problem free except somehow the customer service button on the room telephone didn't seems to work but was a small issue. Special mention for good and professional service goes to Mr Noor (Breakfast Manager 3rd floor restaurant) and Mr Salman (Evening Manager, Executive Lounge 17floor).. Keep up the good work guys.. :)
I had a great stay at Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel with my friend. The overall experience was very pleasant and comfortable.
The food was delicious with a nice variety, and the atmosphere of the hotel felt calm, elegant, and welcoming. The service was excellent—the staff were very polite, attentive, and always ready to assist.
Cleanliness was impressive throughout the hotel, and everything was well-maintained. We also appreciated the peaceful and quiet environment, which made our stay even more relaxing.
