Senglea Suites

First time getting to know Senglea. What a gem of a location. The overall attention to detail stood out to me; the exquisite design, the fine linens, beds, pillows, and the breakfast along with the personalized attention. This is why I choose to stay in guest houses.

Senglea Suites is a truly special place. I absolutely fell in love with both the hotel and its beautiful location. From the moment I arrived, the entire team made me feel incredibly welcome,they were warm, friendly, and always happy to help.
The hotel itself is immaculate, with beautifully designed rooms that are both elegant and stylish. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. Breakfast was delicious, with everything fresh and beautifully prepared.
The location is perfect if you're looking for a peaceful stay, while also being an excellent base for discovering Malta. There are plenty of lovely waterfront restaurants nearby, all with stunning views of Birgu.
I would happily stay here again, and next time I'd definitely make it a longer visit!

Niesamowite miejsce. Prawdziwy butikowy Hotel gdzie gościnność gospodarzy wykracza poza przeciętność. Wszelkie udogodnienia i wspaniały pokój, duży przestronny z mega wygodnym łóżkiem. Lokalizacja super. Wszystko na najwyższym poziomie

Location is fantastic. Historic traditional building. The views from the terrace are great. Quiet yet central. 15 minutes walk max to the ferry terminal. The room has everything you need. Literally. Very stylish. Loved the water pressure in the shower. AC was efficient during the heat wave but yet very quiet. Staff are extremely attentive. They were keen to offer us useful advice to explore Malta. Breakfast was tasty and homemade. Truly enjoyed our stay and felt quite lucky that we managed to secure a room during busy summer. Book it! You won’t regret it! The “commute” to Valetta is actually a quick and a very pleasant trip. 100% would stay again if we are back in Malta.

Comfortable room, very clean and organized environmental

Breakfast was delicious, even better to be able to enjoy it on the terrace upstairs.

We highly recommend it. An extraordinary experience. 10/10. I’d give it more if I could :) An oasis in one of Valletta’s oldest neighborhoods. Exceptionally comfortable accommodations. A super friendly atmosphere. Friendly kind staff. We loved the unplanned, spontaneous morning chats over breakfast with the owners, Eric and Michael.
Everything was clean and modern, yet respectful of the authenticity of the location within the ancient framework of a 500-year-old building. We’d love to come back here someday. The restaurant is just a few dozen meters away, along the quiet harbor with a view of Fort St. Angelo, where Malta’s history was made. The ferry to the center of Valletta is a 10-12 minute walk, followed by a 10-minute boat ride.

It is rarely that comfort, style, practicality and friendliness come together into such an attractive package, but Eric, Michael, Nateesh and ​the lovely breakfast room ladies have created exactly this, presenting an oasis in the quieter part of Valetta . We loved every minute there, from the rooftop breakfasts to the giant, comfortable beds, to the minute attention to detail, such as providing a shoehorn in the wardrobe, daily water to the room, the lift, the brightness of the interior of the staircase and building due to intelligent use of architecture, it was all top class. We hear they are expanding with extra rooms and a rooftop pool, also! In many trips abroad and at home, I have no hesitation in assigning a 5/5 stars to Senglia Suites, and hope to revisit when the work is done. Great work, all, and thanks!

Die ohnehin schon fantastischen Bewertungen hier untertreiben maßlos – das Hotel war zu 150 % besser als erwartet! Ein wunderschönes Boutique-Hotel mit unglaublich viel Liebe zum Detail. Ein riesiges Dankeschön an Michael und Eric für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft und die tollen Tipps. Wir haben uns ab der ersten Sekunde wie zu Hause gefühlt. Absolute Empfehlung, wir kommen garantiert wieder!

Our stay at Senglea Suites was absolutely wonderful. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The room, as well as the entire property, was spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and maintained to a very high standard.
The location was another big advantage. It is peaceful and quiet, yet within walking distance of several excellent restaurants, making it the perfect place to relax while still having everything you need nearby.
The owners and all the staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring, without ever being intrusive or overbearing. They made us feel at home and were always happy to help.
The breakfast was another highlight of our stay. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast made with high-quality ingredients, making each day start perfectly.
We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Senglea Suites to anyone visiting Malta. We will definitely be back!

I can talk about one hundred good things about our 5-day in Senglea Suites. It was beyond our expectation and we were really impressed by the modern facilities in the five-hundreds-years building, and staff who always cared for us. Thank you Eric, Michael and Natishe, and I wish all of you all the best.

The hotel and the room were exquisitely decorated. Everyone at the hotel, especially Eric, was incredibly helpful. The city view from our room and the hotel's terrace were breathtaking. If we ever visit Malta again, we would definitely want to stay here.

The room was stunning, the terrace was amazing, the hosts were super attentive. It was just perfect. They really, really do everything they can to make your stay as great as it can be. They are the blueprint for hosting.
