Everything was perfect! The staff made us feel welcome throughout the stay. Breakfast was great, rooms were quiet, beds were comfortable and location was great.

Wat een pareltje, deze kleinschalige accommodatie! Net buiten de drukte, maar op loopafstand van de sfeervolle haven waar vandaan je met de ferry of een van de vele kleurrijke watertaxi's snel in Valletta bent. Maar vergeet ook zeker niet om The Three Cities te bezoeken. Voordat je aan je activiteiten begint, word je verwend met een heerlijk ontbijt met keuze uit div. soorten brood/broodjes, pastries, yoghurt, fruit, je eitje naar wens vers bereid etc. De medewerkers en gastheren doen er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. En dan het pand. Een mooi, authentiek gebouw dat zeer sfeervol is gedecoreerd en ingericht. Wij hebben ons echt een paar dagen 'royals' gevoeld. Lieve mensen, bedankt!!

A truly delightful Senglea Suites Hotel. We stayed for four nights, and I had originally hoped to book this hotel for our entire stay in Malta, but unfortunately it was fully booked. Looking back, our vacation—and especially our stay in Senglea Suites—left a lasting impression. It was our first visit to Malta, and we absolutely loved it, thanks in no small part to the outstanding hospitality of the entire hotel team.

From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcome. Eric greeted us warmly at check-in, and we really appreciated being able to check early.

Breakfast each morning was a highlight. Delicious omelettes and aromatic coffee—the perfect way to start the day. There was also the opportunity to have breakfast on the beautiful terrace. Our friendly conversations with the owners were unforgettable. They always took the time to ask how we were doing and whether we needed anything, and every request was taken care of quickly and with genuine care. The level of service was exceptional.

The hotel itself is beautifully designed. The historic building has been restored with great taste, and the modern additions blend seamlessly with the original architecture, creating an authentic and elegant atmosphere.

The rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views over the Three Cities Bay. Watching the sunset there with a glass of wine was one of the highlights of our stay.

We stayed in one of the historic rooms, and we loved it. It was spacious, with high ceilings and traditional Maltese character, while also offering every modern comfort. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was large and well appointed.

Thank you to Eric, Michael, Natishe, Frances and Louwrens for making our stay so memorable. You all contributed to our unforgettable first visit to Malta. We would happily stay at your hotel again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special place to stay.

Having spent my third stay at Senglea Suites I can only reiterate what an incredible place this is.

Sat within the city walls of Senglea / Isla, one of Malta’s historic three cities situated just 15 minutes from the airport. This whole area exudes charm, a short walk can take you to Gardjola Gardens gardens overlooking Valletta and the grand harbour. Many quality restaurants can also be found on the waterfront which you walk past on the way to the ferry taking you to the capital.

Rooms are spacious, very comfortable bed and fantastic bathroom. AC was an absolute godsend too 🥵

Owners and staff are always on hand and easily contactable, very friendly and knowledgeable about the country.

Breakfast is a continental affair made up of quality ingredients with eggs prepared to your liking.

You have access to two terraces, one gets the shade in the afternoon whilst the very top one offers a stunning view of the harbour and Birgu.

L établissement senglea suite est fantastique aussi bien la chambre avec minibar (eau plate et eau gazeuse à disposition ainsi que du café et du thé) ses 2 terrasses dont une à vue paronamique sur la Valette
Le petit déjeuner copieux et varié

Eigentlich vergebe ich nie volle Punktzahl, aber dieses Boutique Hotel übertrifft alle Erwartungen.
Freundlich, Hilfsbereit einfach toll. Eric und dein Team weiter so!!

Il team di Senglea è fantastico: oltre ad essere estremamente professionale, è anche premuroso, disponibile e sempre attento alle esigenze degli ospiti. La pulizia della camera era impeccabile, gli interni splendidi e ogni dettaglio curato con grande attenzione (persino l'asciugamano dedicato al make-up!).
In camera erano presenti un frigorifero con acqua sempre a disposizione, una macchina del caffè Nespresso e un bollitore, piccoli accorgimenti che hanno reso il soggiorno ancora più piacevole.

Ottima anche la colazione internazionale, con la possibilità di gustarla su una delle loro splendide terrazze, godendo di un'atmosfera davvero speciale.

Gute Kommunikation vorab, Abholung von Flughafen, alles hat geklappt. Senglea liegt gegenüber von Valletta (wo das Nightlife stattfindet), was man per Fähre in Gehnähe gut erreichen kann oder per Uber/Bolt für sehr wenig Geld. Abends ist es in der Gegend ruhig. Einlass in die Suits erfolgt mit Code, man braucht keinen Schlüssel. Das Appartment (Zimmer 6) war perfekt eingerichtet, speziell das Bad mit Dusche war am Neuesten Stand. Kleine Kritik: Es gibt im Bad keine Steckdose für den Föhn… ;-)
Die beiden Eigentümer und das Hauspersonal sind superfreundlich. Morgens wir einem das Frühstück auf die Dachterasse getragen, sehr nett. Wenn man was braucht, wird einem sofort geholfen. Der Blick vom Rooftop ist grandios. Es gibt auch einige nette Restaurants in Gehnähe.

Michael & Eric are great hosts; they even let me drop my bag off early in the morning. Eric took me on a tour of their lovely renovated place - including the rooftop with the stunning views - and let me join my friends who were at breakfast who were also staying there. The room, 6, has fantastic views (see pic) plus there's a lift so I didn't have to haul my suitcase. I appreciated being able to stay in a historic part of the city.
