Warning - Black Mold!
So we have tried multiple times to contact the hotel & have not had one response...
We had booked a 3 bedroom unit since we were traveling as a family of 6 (4 adults, 2 kids). Reception messaged us about when we were going to arrive so when we arrived, there was someone at reception who was very nice & let us leave our luggage there until the room was ready. They messaged us a little later and I had gone back to get the key. The unit was nice but realized that it was only 2 bedrooms - we tried multiple times to contact staff to ask if we were in the right unit since we had booked a 3 bedroom & the listing shows 3 bedrooms as well. We stopped by reception multiple times but no one was ever there, as well as messaging via WhatsApp and Booking.com with no response. Also the doorknob had fallen off the front door on the inside so every time we wanted to open or close it we had to grab it from on top of the fridge (where we kept it so the kids didn't lose it). My parents had stayed in the room on the second floor and we stayed in basement bedroom with the 3 twin beds & a crib which was against the wall/locked door that we just figured was storage since it was locked and against the wall. However, the last night we were there, we found a key hidden behind the safe on the shelf & tried it on the locked room downstairs ... It was the third bedroom and it was COVERED in black mold. Not only did they give us a '2 bedroom unit' when we booked a three bedroom, they also knew that this room was covered in black mold and let us stay here (not to mention my 18 month old who was sleeping next to the door has respiratory issues). After finding this out, we reached out again multiple times and still no response... The location was nice & the rooftop pool was great but honestly a place that knowingly allows its guests to stay in a place that is covered in black mold (especially with kids) is not okay.
Very accommodating after a mix-up with booking dates and a beautiful room allocated. Facilities perfect and only a 10 minute stroll down to the port. Thank you guys so much 🙏🏼

Pickup from the port was easy and they also organised a car rental for us. Thanks Dimitri and team for the pleasant stay! Apartment was clean and the bathroom was exceptional for Greece.
Ampelos Cassart was a lovely place to stay for a couple. Close enough to the old centre to walk in 20 minutes but far enough to be quiet. The breakfast provided was an added bonus. Pick up was organised from the port for 10 euro which helped when you are dragging suitcases. Dimitri our driver was very informative.

The location was very good. It was with in walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We felt comfortable parking our rental van at the property and we walked everywhere we needed to go. We rented two rooms and they were very clean and comfortable. The kitchens were small but very adequate for our use, and the bathrooms were clean. The host was very informative and helpful and made sure we were checked in and comfortable.
I may have misread the listing, but I thought that we were booking a house, but this is more of a hotel. One room was a bit of a distance from the other. This was fine for us as we were traveling with adult children, but if you are booking two rooms together, be sure to specify that to the host in order to get the rooms next door to each other.
Second time I've stayed there and I love it. It's a gentle walk into town, quiet at night, with well-designed rooms and lovely facilities. All the staff I met were truly lovely. The plunge pool and roof terrace are perfect for a hot day.
Very clean and cozy room, with a really nice pool on the roof with a view on the mountains. The staff was very friendly and gave a lot of suggestions where to go and where to eat :) A small walk and all the shops, restaurants and cafes are nearby. Highly recommended! :)

Ausstattung, Sauberkeit, Personal super! Durften aus zwei Zimmern auswählen, Pool auf dem Dach, Frühstück aufs Zimmer gebracht bekommen. War kein Problem eine Nacht zu verlängern. Top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. 200 m zum nächsten Supermarkt, 1km zum Strand, sehr ruhige Lage
The location is quiet but with an easy walk into the town centre and the beach - easy access to lots of restaurants and bars. The rooms are beautifuly designed, cool and calming, with great linen, towel,s, and general facilities (fridge, crockery, cutlery). The staff are welcoming and informative, and always available if you need anything. Spotlessly clean, with a very decent breakfast delivered to your room. Lovely small pool with a few sunbeds on the roof. Loved it.
