A delightful find, offering an oasis of calm and comfort within easy reach of the city. Wonderful staff and cuisine.. S
Pros:

A rare find.. A family run hotel with high end service and dining experiences forged from generations of family values.

Great location on the outskirts of the city, with free bus tickets and a 15 min ride to the old town.

The hotel is a traditional building with a lovely spa across 2 levels, outdoor dining, seating and spa relax areas provided shaded tranquil areas to unwind and enjoy drinks.

The owners and staff were just lovely creating a wonderful environment.

Cons:

We booked last minute as on a road trip and had one of two rooms not yet supplied with air conditioning. Our room was traditional and would have been very comfortable were it not for the heat in the room. With hight temps across europe during our stay the room was “sweaty” causing a lack of sleep unfortunately.

The hotel was fully booked and the hotel owner and staff had placed a large tower fan in the room, this helped a little but recommend guests opt for a room with air conditioning if visiting for the summer.

That said we will return to visit more of the city and we would have no hesitation in staying at this lovely hotel agajn.

Welcoming and friendly hotel with high standards throughout. Highly recommended!
Pros:

Lovely authentic feel to the hotel. Very welcoming and helpful staff with good English. The room was well-designed and spacious. Although the hotel was quite a way from the centre, the free bus pass made it very easy to get into town. The evening meal we had was incredible.

Enjoyed the ambience and the traditional Austrian feel!
Pros:

Great food, helpful staff, common areas like pool, garden and reading room were nice, quiet and super clean ! Love the traditional design and architecture!. Lent me an adapter to charge my phone - yay!

Cons:

Bed is too low! Furniture in the room was outdated and barely functional. I spent very nice times in the common areas in part because I just not feeling the room was comfortable for me.

Pros:

The facility is old yet very well maintained- even though we didnt use it there is ac too.
Breakfast may seem to not have too many options but everything is so delicately made (including home made jams) and so delicious.
Server of breakfast and employee at front desk was very professional and kind.

Cons:

The pool was a little too dark for us to use.

Pros:

I loved the Austrian decor and dress, enjoyed the very friendly and professional staff, authentic Austrian cuisine, and the modern amenities including the infinity pool. Absolutely restful and exceeded my expectations!
