This is a great, high-end boutique hotel. The decor is lovely, the room was very clean, and it was very quiet (I was able to crash and get great sleep after traveling for 2-days non stop). The hotel restaurant is also great (the breakfast is top tier!).
The staff was very friendly and helpful (and they allowed me to keep my bags there after I checked out so that I could explore the area before leaving Podgorica).
Unfortunately, you have to walk a long block to get to the hotel. You can't drive up to the entrance. The city has the streets blocked off so that cars can't drive through (your taxi must drop you off a block away). This isn't the hotel's fault and I managed fine. But just be aware that if you have heavy luggage or a number of suitcases like I did.
I don't know really how to review my one night stay. I booked this as I was expecting to dine in the restaurant with Montenegrin friends, but we went elsewhere. So I was left with a bed and breakfast hotel. and both were disappointing.
The room I had, 33, on the back of the hotel was incredibly dark. (my photos are light enhanced). The receptionist put me there to minimise the late night noise, which wasn't too bad. so I am grateful for that. But I was struggling for plus points for the room. Even with every conceivable light on in the room, I still had to use a small key ring torch to access the room safe. The two chairs provided are, presumably traditional, but impractical. No kettle provided, though a quarter bottle of Vranac was on display but with a charge. The bathroom was unique and I will leave it at that.
Others of course will think the room and bathroom perfectly charming and yes, I did read the reviews and view the photographs, but for once, my expectations were not met I am afraid.
All members of staff I encountered were first class, the receptionist who checked me in especially so. For the rest, I am afraid this was not really to my taste, though I am sure others will love it.
My score of 8 is on the generous side
My 2nd stay at this hotel in couple of months time, same remarks as in the first review. All is as it should be.
Really nice hotel in a great location. Staff are nice and helpful. Bar lounge and restaurant serve up nice food.
Noisy location at night with rooms above noisy bars.
Industrial creative design, location, very friendly and helpful staff, restaurant on site. Special thanks to Ana at the front desk.
1. Location: is exactly in the city center, an area full of restaurants and bars.
2. Cleanliness: perfect, every day promptly the room was refreshed.
3. The hotel: is with unusual decorations, out of ordinary, gives you a nice feeling.
4. The restaurant and breakfast: Although the service is a bit slow, good food and has a nice atmosphere.
5. The reception desk: Very kind and nice people.
1. The room: was small and quite dark for my taste, maybe because it was kind of an attic. I saw another room of one of my colleagues, had a decent size.
2. For 5 stars hotel, you expect to have some complementary water and a coffee machine in the room. Instead, you can get only high prized water from minibar, which is unpleasant if your arrival is late at night.
3. The noise: is nice having bars and restaurants around, but when the terrace under your window plays loud music all night it become not that funny. If you have problems with this, ask specifically for a room with the view on the back of the building.
Breakfast is great. The room is spacious and well-designed. The lobby is very modern and unique.
No parking at the property. The hotel is in a pedestrian-only area.
erg vriendelijk personeel
Todo. La localización, las instalaciones, el personal. El mejor hotel de Montenegro
