The hotel is new, very clean, and beautifully decorated. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The surrounding area feels quiet, luxurious, and very well maintained, and the sea is incredibly clear.
We really enjoyed the swimming pool, and the food at the hotel was very good. They also make great cocktails by the pool, which was a nice touch. One of my favorite features of our room was the bathroom — the bathtub had a beautiful view directly over the sea.
Luštica Bay itself is lovely if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful and relaxing. There are a couple of beautiful beaches nearby, and we really enjoyed walking around the marina in the evening. It’s calm, clean, and has some very good restaurants
The location may not be for everyone, as Luštica Bay is quite secluded compared with the main tourist areas of Montenegro. We personally didn’t mind this at all and actually enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, but it’s something to keep in mind if you plan on sightseeing or going out frequently. During rush hour, it can take some time to reach places such as Kotor, or other popular tourist areas.
Overall, if you’re looking for a relaxing stay in a beautiful, quiet setting and don’t mind being a little away from the busier areas, it’s a great choice.
nice location, nice beach, beautiful hotel and big comfortable rooms
small balconies, some rooms facing noisy restaurants
The Chedi Luštica Bay was simply extraordinary. Tastefully designed and quietly luxurious, it is set on a breathtaking bay with crystal-clear waters. Peaceful and elegant, with exceptional service and a wonderful selection of restaurants and bars both within the hotel and along the bay, it was absolute perfection.
Superbe hôtel, personnel chaleureux et très professionnel. Localisation parfaite.
Room was excellent
Beach needs a major improvement
Very nice service and beautiful calm area
The location is very nice. It's set in a gated community on the Adriatic sea. The resort feels very safe and there are a nice choice of restaurants in the same complex. The breakfast choices are good. The Japanese restaurant is wonderful. We had sea view room which were large with two WC's which was really convenient. The beach - although pebble is nice and clean and the sea water is the clearest I've ever seen - really wonderful to swim in.
It's not really a five star hotel. For example the beach is open to the entire gated community and although there are plenty of sunbeds available, you're given a towel and told to find your own spot. Nobody takes you or helps you find and set up a sunbed for your family etc. You're told to fend for yourself - which is more of a four star type service - not what you expect from a five star hotel. The breakfast choices both buffet and to order are good, however the service is hit or miss. There is no supervision of the dining room and although the staff are nice, they appear to be disorganised with some tables being attended to promptly and others completely ignored. You also see dirty dishes piling up on the tables and the staff don't think to clear them as they pass by. It feels as though this area of the hotel lacks management and the staff are left to cope by themselves.
Everything!
The pool area and beach were on the small side.
We stayed at The Chedi Luštica Bay as a family of three for two nights before heading home to Dubai after a three-week road trip through Montenegro and Albania. After mostly staying in Airbnbs and roughing it a little, it was the perfect relaxing end to our trip.
The staff were incredibly welcoming, especially with our son. We loved the thoughtful touches for him, including the golden ticket for the kids’ club, the little gifts in the room, and the fact that children could use the spa until 5pm. He absolutely loved it.
The spa was one of the best we’ve experienced, especially the tropical shower, and the beds were super comfortable. We also enjoyed usinh the pool table.
We were surprised by some of the negative breakfast comments as we found the variety perfectly good. The only small issue was that a few orders were mixed up, and the iced coffee was quite different from what we’re used to.
We didn’t eat in the hotel restaurants as we found them quite expensive, but there’s a lovely bakery further along the bay with delicious pizza, cakes and salads at very reasonable prices.
A special shout-out to Natalia at reception, who was so friendly and helpful and to the hotel for our suprise upgrade to the junior suite.
Overall, a beautiful, relaxing stay and a lovely way to end our trip. I also work in weddings and thought the venue would make a gorgeous wedding setting, especially the amphitheatre area.
Restaurants just seemed very steep...but overall all no complaints.
