Lovely getaway
Pros:

The restaurant at the hotel was fabulous! The beaches were just a short 5-10 minute walk from the room. There were plenty of restaurants nearby as well. Compared to Parikia and Noussa, Ambelas was muchhh quieter and more peaceful.

Cons:

Since it's a bit removed from the chaos of other areas, it was a little difficult to get around without a rental car. The drive to Noussa was about 10 minutes by car or 50 minutes walking, and taking the taxi to Noussa cost 20€ each way. Taking a taxi to Lefkes, Parikia, or Pounta (by the airport) was about 40€ one way. There are also weren't many shops nearby, so if that's a major draw, just plan to do your shopping in Noussa or Parikia.

Sehr schöne Anlage in einem ruhigen Ort
Pros:

Sehr schöne Anlage, nur einige Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand. Da Mitte Oktober Saisonende ist, war bei uns nicht mehr viel los im Ort, sehr ruhig also.

Pros:

El desayuno era estupendo, además era muy agradable desayunar en el jardín a la sombra al lado de la piscina.
La piscina también estaba bien y las hamacas eran cómodas.

Cons:

El baño era pequeño y el lavabo estaba en la habitación lo que resultaba incómodo.
La habitación era pequeña y faltaba algún sitio donde dejar las cosas.

Lovely family-run retreat near beaches and restaurants
Pros:

Margarita Studios location is ideal for a more relaxed retreat, walking distance to beaches and restaurants, but away from the bustle of cities. Staff are warm & wonderful and room very clean.

Empfehlenswertes Hotel
Pros:

Ruhige Lage (eigenes Fahrzeug notwendig!), Balkon mit teilweiser Meeressicht, super freundliche und hilfsbereite Eigentümerin, vernünftiger Pauschalpreis für das Waschen von Kleidern, reichhaltige Frühstückskarte (ca 15€/Person). Angenehmer Gästemix.

Cons:

- am Pool kaum Schatten (die Sonnenschirme sind so ausgerichtet, dass man fast nie Schatten hat)
- Badezimmer: klein, in die Jahre gekommen, unpraktisch, teilweise kein warmes Wasser am Morgen. Hier würde ich bei einem Übernachtungspreis von über 100€ Verbesserungen erwarten!

Struttura bellissima a gestione familiare, Ottimo cibo

Ospitalità e cortesia, la zona piscina e il ristorante, il cibo genuino ed eccezionale, la possibilità di pranzare a qualsiasi ora, i letti comodi, la tranquillità e pace del luogo.

Chambre vieillissante.
La taille de la salle de bain est minuscule. Accès étroit. Porte serviettes accroché en haut de la porte, soit impossible d'accès si vous faites moins de 1.80m.
Pas de porte manteaux dans la chambre, pas de porte serviettes (lavabo dans la chambre), pas d'étagères ; seulement une penderie.
Très peu d'ombre autour de la belle piscine.

Relaxed stay in the very compfy hotel!
Pros:

The staff was really nice and helpfull! Furthermore the location was really relaxed and the pool was great. The room looked nice and clean!

Cons:

The location is a little further away from the bigger cities in the island and taxies cost around €20,- a one way. A car is really recommended for the stay.

However the remoteness brought some calmness. Therefor not really a negative but just something to keep in mind!

Pros:

L'accueil est très agréable ainsi que le petit déjeuner qui est vraiment fabuleux.
La chambre par contre était très exiguë (pas de placard,pas de commode,le lavabo dans la chambre...)
La salle de bain extrêmement petite contenait un toilette et une douche mais impossible de fermer la porte.
La piscine est très bien exposée et propre. Par contre,un nettoyage des coussins extérieurs seraient nécessaire.
Dans l'ensemble,un hôtel simple,familial pour y passer quelques jours.
Bon rapport qualité/prix
