Die Unterkunft befindet sich in der Nähe des Bahnhofs, und die Innenstadt ist dank einer guten Busverbindung schnell und unkompliziert erreichbar. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Personal: Die Mitarbeitenden, vor allem an der Rezeption, sind äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Die Ausstattung war veraltet und sehr einfach.
Die Frühstücksauswahl war insgesamt sehr bescheiden. Während des Frühstücks wurden Speisen und Getränke zudem nicht nachgefüllt. Das bedeutete, dass bereits vergriffene Produkte nicht ersetzt wurden – am dritten Tag gab es beispielsweise weder gekochte Eier noch Wasser.

Am negativsten fiel jedoch die schlafstörende Auslösung der Alarmanlage ins Gewicht. Aufgrund eines Defekts der Abzugshaube oder nicht Nutzung dieser wurde um 6:10 Uhr ein Feueralarm ausgelöst, was zu einem Feuerwehreinsatz führte. Die Gäste mussten das Hotel verlassen und etwa eine halbe Stunde in Pajamas in der Kälte draußen warten, bis die Situation überprüft war. Ob es sich hierbei um einen technischen oder menschlichen Fehler handelte, lässt sich schwer beurteilen – allerdings sollte ein solcher Vorfall in dieser Form nicht passieren.

Besonders enttäuschend war der Umgang des Hotels im Anschluss: Es gab weder eine Entschädigung noch ein Entgegenkommen. Selbst eine spätere Abreise wurde auf Nachfrage nicht ermöglicht. Dies wäre nur gegen Bezahlung möglich.
