Pros:

Fabulous hotel! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely, it was spacious and comfortable. Free public transport when stay a night in Salzburg. Free bikes to hire

Less public transport nearby and is not very frequent. Only 1 shower for many rooms.

Un lugar agradable y tranquilo para alojarse alejado del bullicio de la ciudad.
Pros:

Un hotel en un entorno acogedor y tranquilo al lado del río. Aunque está un poco alejado del centro, con la L7 se hacía un viaje corto por tener buena combinación con el transporte público. De todos modos, tras un buen y agradable paseo al lado del río también puedes llegar al centro.

Cons:

La cama no era muy cómoda y el baño era compartido, aunque fue mi elección a la hora de realizar la reserva, aunque no fue problema.

Camera pulita e personale gentilissimo
Pros:

Personale gentile e disponibile. Camera ampia e pulita, leggermente calda (abbiamo alloggiato a fine agosto). Mezz’oretta di passeggiata su una ciclabile che costeggia il fiume per raggiungere il centro, piacevole ma lunghetta. Autobus vicino l’alloggio per raggiungere il centro.

C’era la moquette nella camera (ma non nel bagno, punto a favore!)

Schön gelegen mitten in Wohn-Quartier, schönes Restaurant im Erdgeschoss, nette Zimmer.
Pros:

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war sauber. Und es gab sogar die Möglichkeit ohne Aufpreis ein Rad ausleihen zu können, um nach Salzburg reinzufahren an einer schönen Strecke entlang des Kanals (10/15min).

Cons:

Als ich ankam, gb es ein Insekt im Zimmer, das ich nicht ganz einordnen konnte. Es kam wahrsch. durchs angekippte Fenster rein und versteckte sich schnell, und ward niemehr gesehen von mir - zum Glück.

Basic accomodations in quiet location
Pros:

The room was spacious and stayed surprisingly cool despite the 35 degree weather (impressive considering I was staying in the South-side of the hotel, under the roof). The location is good for a quiet stay: right next to the river and very close to the starting point of the hike up the Gaisberg mountain, which I highly recommend (900m elevation, well signposted, great views). The hotel could facilitate my very early arrival on Monday morning, which I very much appreciated.

Cons:

The wifi was almost non-existent in my room, though reception might be better in more centrally located rooms. There was no refrigerator or air conditioning (a bit problematic because I was carrying medicine with me). There was nobody present on Monday and Tuesday, which resulted in some minor miscommunications. Reaching Salzburg city center takes a 20 minutes walk or a ride on one of the buses (which have a frequency of about 1 bus/hour), so this place is less suitable for people who want to focus on the cultural attractions.

Pros:

Gute Lage, sauber, nettes Personal, Fahrrad konnte ich in der Garage unterstellen. Modernes Gemeinschaftsbad. Waschbecken im Zimmer. Und es gab einen Ventilator, was bei der Hitze top war.

Cons:

Etwas teuer, dafür, dass es kein Bad im Zimmer gab und Frühstück auch nicht im Preis inbegriffen war.
