The view from my balcony was incredible!
Pool was too small and area around very slippery, which made it unsafe! No A/C in the lobby. The hotel staff was not so friendly, especially the front desk. I do need to recognize some of the waiters for their kindness professionalism. Food was average!
The location is amazing
The pool was dirty this time , and the staff was not welcoming as they used to be 2 years back.
The only thing that we liked about the property was the pool. It is a beautiful pool with a nice backdrop of the rock formations with the monasteries on top.
The “garden view” rooms are disgusting. Feels like you are in prison. These are on level 500. Outside was an old irrigation hose on the right side of our patio all rolled up and unkept grass. Honestly our jaws dropped to the floor in how gross it was.
The staff, 50% are nice and 50% do not belong in hospitality. The woman working the front desk is nice. The older man working front desk is a complete asshole who doesn’t deserve a job in hospitality. The pool opens at 11 but he won’t give you a towel before 12. Makes a lot of sense. When you go an ask him he will rudely say “18
Min for you to have a precious towel”. Makes absolutely no sense. Honestly if I was an investor in this hotel I would fire that guy. Probably part of the reason why this play gets crappy reviews.
The breakfast was DISGUSTING. We thought, oh we are in Greece, should be decent food. NO. The first morning everything was stale and cold. The coffee tastes like 2 days old gas station coffee. The only thing we ate was toast with jam because that was the only way to get a warm bite…. Toast it yourself. Honestly the folks so gross they put zero effort in to it and I really truly felt that they just keep serving days old old food day after day. We discovered that they had expresso and cappuccino the the second day when I saw the woman making it. Because of course they don’t tell you or ask you. You jr have to by pure luck see e woman making one to realize it is offered.

אני מבין קצת באוכל ועברנו לא מעט מלונות ויש מה לשפר
Everything here was great!! The views!! The pool! And our family room was perfect. Two rooms so that we all got a good nights sleep. Breakfast was included. We used the pool, which was very relaxing. Dinner was very good and plentiful. Definitely want to stay here again. Our children had lots of fun! Good spot for Meteora. We did the viewpoint drives and sunset.
Pillow were a bit too high. Would be good to have a choice of softer pillows.
Room was good, with a nice balcony and a lovely view of Meteora cliffs.
Breakfast was ok, but nothing to write home about.
Nothing stood out in a negative way.

Am avut un sejur foarte plăcut la Meteora Hotel at Kastraki. Principalul punct forte este, fără îndoială, priveliștea spectaculoasă către stâncile Meteora. Atât din zona hotelului, cât și de la piscină, panorama este superbă și creează o atmosferă deosebită, mai ales dimineața și la apus.
Hotelul este amplasat într-o zonă liniștită, foarte potrivită pentru relaxare și pentru vizitarea mănăstirilor Meteora. Piscina este frumoasă și bine poziționată, iar faptul că te poți relaxa admirând stâncile face experiența și mai specială.
Am apreciat și curățenia, confortul camerelor și amabilitatea personalului. Micul dejun este variat și plăcut, iar atmosfera generală a hotelului este elegantă și relaxantă.
Un alt avantaj este parcarea disponibilă la hotel, lucru foarte util dacă vizitezi zona cu mașina.
Per total, este un hotel pe care îl recomand pentru locația excelentă, liniște, piscină și, mai ales, pentru priveliștea impresionantă asupra Meteorei. Cu siguranță este o alegere foarte bună pentru câteva zile în această zonă superbă.
Booked a large family room. Excellent value for money. Clean room and comfortable beds. Nice pool area which was needed for the extreme heat. View was sensational. Short drive into the town and 10 mins to Meteora. Very happy with our stay.
