Could not have asked for a better hotel for our time in Naxos, and would definitely come back!
Pros:

The staff were incredible -- they went above and beyond and made our entire stay so easy! They helped us quickly book a rental car, get time in the sauna, and all with a huge smile and wonderful attitude. They were certainly the highlight of our time. Additionally, the room was lovely, the view was beautiful, and the breakfast was incredible. Could not have asked for a better hotel for our time in Naxos, and would definitely come back!

Cons:

It would have been helpful to know when in the season the restaurant was not open as this was not described to us when we came and we didn't know from online.

Staying at Hotel Grotta felt like we were staying with family.
Pros:

The staff is incredibly caring and helpful. The views are amazing of the Temple of Apollo and Old Town and it is a quick walk to town. The breakfasts are outstanding with lots of variety and delicious homemade dishes. Truly a top rate experience staying at Hotel Grotta!

THE Reason to return to Greece
Pros:

I selfishly want to keep Hotel Grotta my secret, but the staff and owners are too wonderful not to sing their praises.
Breakfasts here are nothing like we've ever had anywhere else. Each day is a different fresh farm to table menu.
My photos of their offerings don't do it justice!
Hotel Grotta spoiled us for any other hotel that follows on our round the world itinerary.
Four days in Naxos was made perfect thanks to Connie, Aiome (apologies for getting your name wrong), all the lovely ladies on staff attending to our every need.
We visited in the slow, colder month of March and were checked in early and upgraded to a larger room with a sweeping view of the Agean Sea and the famous Temple Apollo.
We rented a car and appreciated the free on site parking.

Cons:

We have zero complaints.

Loved every minute, stay here, you won’t regret it
Pros:

Breakfast was amazing, never had to eat til dinnertime. Both front desk staff were amazing, especially the afternoon lady, Aino? I’m terrible with names. She went out of her way to help me with everything. The evening dining guy was lovely too. Great view from upstairs patio. The sauna was a great plus too. They made me feel very welcome. The island hospitality just shone,so different from Athens

Pros:

This family-run hotel was absolutely flawless.
It’s within easy walking distance of the city center and offers a wide variety of delicious breakfast options. The facilities and overall environment are exceptional — guests can even enjoy private use of the spa.

What impressed me most, however, was the staff. Every single member was professional, friendly, and eager to help. For instance, the driver warmly introduced us to the surrounding area and kindly provided pick-up and drop-off service for both check-in and check-out.

I truly wished I could have stayed another night!

We hope to come back to Naxos in the future. If so, we will definitely stay at this property again.
Pros:

It's a great location just a short walk from the main town. It was nice to be just outside the town where it was a little more quiet and peaceful. The property was extremely well maintained, clean, and had a beautiful view. The hotel has small whirlpool, sauna, and steam room that can be used by reservation. It was nice to use those facilities privately with just our family.

We were offered free transfer from the airport to the hotel. Also, we left on a ferry and got driven down to the port.

The rooms were definitely comparable to a higher end hotel. The breakfast was probably the best part of the stay. Everything felt homemade, abundant, and delicious. The staff are incredibly friendly and it definitely had a family feel.

Cons:

Our family of four had to split into two rooms which was the only downside. I don't know if they have larger rooms or suites. Out rooms were next to each other so it wasn't too much for a problem.
