Beautiful, modern, new boutique hotel in Naxos very close to the Ferry Port ( 4 minutes). Spacious and very clean, well
Pros:

The property is well maintained, it’s very serene and peaceful. The workers and there are only 5 of them who you get to meet personally upon arrival are very friendly and the hotel owner comes and personally greets each guest upon their arrival. You get personally walked to your room and get a mini tour of the entire property as you await for your luggage to be brought up to your room. The hotel is located literally 4 minutes from the Naxos Port. The hotel has a gym and a spa facilities. Breakfast is included and the food is very fresh.

Cons:

The only negative aspect was that you can’t flush any toilet paper down the toilet and are told to place all tissues and dirty toilet paper into a small basket in the bathroom.

Pros:

We traveled with a 2 and 4 year old and honestly the staff treated us and them as if we were family. A dream hotel in many ways and couldn’t recommend more.

Cons:

You have to take a car to head to the beach which may put some people off but we didn’t mind.

Relaxing stay in gorgeous environment
Pros:

Room was beautiful
Sunbeds luxurious and very comfortable
Towels and water given out free around the pool which was a lovely gesture
Breakfast wonderful - small but varied and good quality buffet

Cons:

15/20 min walk out of the centre which wasn’t a problem for us but the walk up the sandy hill with luggage was hard. A service from the port would’ve meant a lot

Relaxing stay in Naxos!
Pros:

We loved staying at El Mar! We were there for four nights while visiting Naxos for the first time. The location is pretty quiet, but only about a 15-20 minute walk into town if you don’t mind walking. We had a massive suite on the ground floor, right outside the pool. It’s a small hotel, but has all of the basic amenities you need - a simple gym, spa, pool, breakfast and a bar. All of the staff were so nice and helpful.

Struttura stupenda, a circa 10 minuti a piedi dal centro in posizione estremamente tranquilla. Personale molto gentile e accogliente, discreto, ma sempre attento ai bisogni di ogni ospite e alla cura di ogni dettaglio. Camera spaziosa, moderna e molto pulita. Colazione a buffet ottima, con prodotti locali sia dolci che salati. Splendida vista sulla città, soprattutto all'ora del tramonto, visibile sia dal bar che dalla zona piscina. Il contesto è estremamente rilassante e permette di trascorrere un soggiorno in pieno relax. Parcheggio riservato ai clienti, utile per chi noleggia un'auto. Consigliatissimo!

One of the best accommodations in the Cyclades
Pros:

We absolutely loved our stay in El Mar. The property is clean, modern and the view is just spectacular. One of the nicest sunsets we’ve seen in Cyclades.
But what made our stay truly special was the the amazing staff - always smiling, attentive, authentic, trying to make your stay unforgettable. We will be coming back!

Comfy beds, 20 minute away from port.
Pros:

Liked reception team who greeted us at check in/check out.

Appreciate the welcome drink and once in the week we was there we got a peach iced tea.

The bed was extremely comfy, and the shower was powerful.

Cons:

I believe you need to be consistent with your guest offerings, so to offer a guest freshly squeezed orange juice after you've sat there for an hour at breakfast, is poor when you're told it's the last one.

We also noted, some people had towels handed to them/put on loungers along with cold water bottles...this didn't happen for us. We kept wondering what we'd done wrong?!

The dirt track up to the property is very steep in one section, and very poorly lit. If you've got any mobility issues you're going to struggle, or need car/taxi.

Pros:

10/10 – A Perfect Stay!
From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and hospitable, always going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and inviting. You can really tell the whole team cares about their guests.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again – highly recommended!
