Titicaca Sariri Lodge

This stay on Lake Titicaca was the highlight of our Peru trip. We had the most amazing time staying with Isaac and Gladys. We arrived in the dark and awoke the the most amazing sights across Lake Titicaca. Although the nights were cool the room was cosy with a heater and the thickest duvets. Dinner and breakfast were some of our best meals. We went fishing with our hosts and had a tour of the islands. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you Gladys and Isaac.

Isaac und Gladis waren super lieb und haben sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Wir wurden vom Hafen mit dem Boot abgeholt. Uns wurden die Urus Inseln sowie das traditionelle Fischen gezeigt. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Lodge war sehr herzig eingerichtet.

I had an amazing experience! The room was really beautiful, with comfortable bed and amazing view on the lake. Isaac and his wife were very kind and helpful. It was really nice to spend some time with Isaac going fishing and exploring the uros village. During my stay I also had delicious food, which made my stay unforgettable. I would recommend it!

Questo posto è un sogno! Isaac e sua moglie hanno creato un piccolo angolo di paradiso in uno dei luoghi più unici del mondo! Il letto comodissimo, la doccia con l’acqua calda e una piccola stufa per scaldarsi la sera e la mattina presto quando fa più freddo. Abbiamo cenato in camera con una cena semplice e gustosa, la colazione è stata la migliore fatta in tutto il viaggio in Perù. La moglie di Isaac poi ricama tessuti spettacolari, uno diverso dall’altro con colori bellissimi. Soggiornare qui è stato un privilegio… Grazie per l’accoglienza grazie per l’ospitalità, per me rimarrà indimenticabile.

We had an incredible stay at Gladys and Isaac home. The place is gorgeous, surrounded by the lake. It’s definitely a once in a lifetime experience. So many thoughtful attentions, not to mention Gladys is an amazing cook. Would highly recommend!

Isaac und seine Frau sind excellence Hosts! Wir kamen um 4:30 Uhr mit dem Bus aus Arequipa in Puno an und Isaac hatte uns einen Taxifahrer organisiert, der uns vom Busbahnhof zum Hafen fuhr. Dort hat Isaac uns mit seinem Boot abgeholt, bei ca. 0 Grad! In der Unterkunft gibt es genug Decken, Wärmflaschen und einen Heizlüfter!

Issac and his wife Gladys are some of the most wonderful people you will ever meet. I was worried about arriving at night in the dark but Isaac was waiting at the docks with his warm welcome. Gladys cooked us a gorgeous chicken dinner which we ate in our lodge - just what we needed after a long day travelling! Her breakfast was incredible one if not our best in Peru, the fruit was so fresh and tasty! Waking up to sunrise was so incredible, and Issac’s information on the islands was really great along with the fishing trip and a quick tour around the local islands. Honestly I think this is the best, most authentic ways to experience the floating islands! Issac is never in a rush and there’s no rush to get you back to Puno, so we had a great time relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery. A once in a lifetime stay and Gladys does make some beautiful authentic gifts you can purchase.

Isaac et sa famille nous ont fait passer un séjour formidable, un accueil exceptionnel, une cuisine délicieuse, une chambre avec vue incroyable sur le lac au calme, nous avons pu profiter du coucher et du lever du soleil. Moment inoubliable. Nous recommandons cette adresse les yeux fermés !

Lovely family thanks to Isaac and Gladys. Beautifully decorated room. Lovely breakfast included and nice dinner as added extra. Family were not imposing but there to help. Great communication via WhatsApp and easy pick up and drop off at port. Nice fishing trip to pull in nets with Issac and boat tour of community all included. Authentic stay on reed island 😊
