Titicaca Sariri Lodge

Isaac and his family were fantastic hosts, I highly recommend staying with them! Everything from the communication, getting picked up at the port, delicious breakfast and dinner, going fishing with Isaac and learning about his wife’s crafts to sitting outside watching the sunset, this was a truly memorable stay.

Isaac, Gladys and their son were lovely and very welcoming. Isaac took us out fishing and we were taken on a tour of the islands, visiting his family. Great experience, loved it! Clearly there’s no way to get back off the island so Gladys cooked 2 delicious meals for us, chicken one night, fish the next

What a wonderful stay. Isaac and Gladys were so welcoming and helpful.
It was really great spending time on their island and learning about their family and their history.
We went to a local restaurant for lunch which was simple and delicious.
We had to leave a day early as my husband had issues with the altitude and Isaac was really great in rallying his friend Leo to help us on the mainland.
In a very stressful situation we felt we were surrounded by kind and helpful people.

We loved the unique experience and location. We loved the friendliness and hospitality of Issac. We loved the experience of Issac taking us out to teach all about reed collecting, fishing and how the islands are built.

Un lieu absolument exceptionnel, au cœur du lac Titicaca, dans un cadre à couper le souffle. Le calme, la beauté des paysages et cette impression d’être seuls au monde rendent l’expérience inoubliable.

Un immense merci à Isaac et à sa femme Gladys pour leur gentillesse, leur accueil chaleureux et leur bienveillance. Grâce à eux, nous avons vécu un moment authentique et privilégié, bien au-delà d’une simple nuit dans un hébergement.

Une parenthèse hors du temps que nous ne sommes pas près d’oublier !

This place is a great way to experience life on an Uros Island. A must stay. We were picked up at the harbor by Isaac. Glady made us an amazing trout dinner. In the morning he took us fishing and told us about life on Uros people and life on the island.

This stay on Lake Titicaca was the highlight of our Peru trip. We had the most amazing time staying with Isaac and Gladys. We arrived in the dark and awoke the the most amazing sights across Lake Titicaca. Although the nights were cool the room was cosy with a heater and the thickest duvets. Dinner and breakfast were some of our best meals. We went fishing with our hosts and had a tour of the islands. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you Gladys and Isaac.

Isaac und Gladis waren super lieb und haben sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Wir wurden vom Hafen mit dem Boot abgeholt. Uns wurden die Urus Inseln sowie das traditionelle Fischen gezeigt. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Lodge war sehr herzig eingerichtet.

I had an amazing experience! The room was really beautiful, with comfortable bed and amazing view on the lake. Isaac and his wife were very kind and helpful. It was really nice to spend some time with Isaac going fishing and exploring the uros village. During my stay I also had delicious food, which made my stay unforgettable. I would recommend it!

Questo posto è un sogno! Isaac e sua moglie hanno creato un piccolo angolo di paradiso in uno dei luoghi più unici del mondo! Il letto comodissimo, la doccia con l’acqua calda e una piccola stufa per scaldarsi la sera e la mattina presto quando fa più freddo. Abbiamo cenato in camera con una cena semplice e gustosa, la colazione è stata la migliore fatta in tutto il viaggio in Perù. La moglie di Isaac poi ricama tessuti spettacolari, uno diverso dall’altro con colori bellissimi. Soggiornare qui è stato un privilegio… Grazie per l’accoglienza grazie per l’ospitalità, per me rimarrà indimenticabile.
