Pros:

Bien situé, dans le centre historique, literie confortable.
Nous avons laissé nos affaires dans l'entrée quelques heures et les avons récupérées sans souci.

Cons:

Nous pensions qu'il y avait une cuisine et un salon partagés mais ce n'est pas le cas. Nous avions mal regardé et le nom Guesthouse nous a induit en erreur, en réalité ce sont des appartements, nous avions le "studio", qui en réalité est une petite chambre. C'est bon pour une nuit, mais pas plus.

Espace très petit pour 2 personnes ( impossible d’ouvrir tôt 2 valises en même temps)

Authentic place in the old city
Pros:

Charming building and room, renovated, nicely decorated and cleverly organised, although small, everything is there (including fan, which was enough even for very hot days over 30), in an old historical building. I stayed there tree times and will come back. Wi-Fi works fine. Check-in clearly explained in e-mails. Good contact with the owner, immediate answers (but I had no problems actually).

Cons:

Room very small but ok for one. Noisy in the evenings if windows open but the earplugs are enough.

Eigenaar was geweldig. Ik kreeg overal antwoord op .onze trein was om 21.30 en we mochten onze koffers op eigen risico achter laten .

Cons:

Te kleine kamer, koffers konden we niet kwijt. Wel heel veel ruimte in de kast .Dus als je van ruimte houd is dit niet fijn .als je binnen komt heb je metten de bed wasbak voor je en rechts is duch wc .En als je op warme dagen daar bent hebben ze een waaier boven het bed en nog extra fentilater.

Das Zimmer war sehr eng. Bei offenem Fenster war es morgens und abends laut.
Parkmöglichkeiten waren 10-15 Minuten entfernt. Mit Gepäck schwierig.

Die Lage ist super zentral. Die Hinterlegung des Schlüssels in der Schlüsselbox hat super geklappt. Kommunikation war top! Sehr viele Tipps erhalten.

Das Zimmer war schon wirklich sehr klein. Und das Besteck müsste mal erneuert werden, fällt schon auseinander bzw. Messer schneiden kaum noch.

NO LIFT, NO AC. TRAVELERS BEWARE OF THIS RUN DOWN FILTH.
Pros:

Host Claudia was hostile and even threatened to sue me for speaking out. My mom was not feeling well with the stuffiness of the property upon arrival and when texting Claudia she stoically and ruthlessly stated we could “feel free to leave” . We ended up having to switch hotels. Claudia not only denied requests for refund, she also remained irresponsive to the requests from Booking.com who acted as the intermediary in trying to reach out for her correspondence and assistance.

Cons:

Price was exorbitant for the nightmare we’ve run into. Not because it’s due to peak season or anything, as we’ve had to move to better hotels within the same price.
Location: Not located in the busiest part of old town centre as advertised, but only at the very edge of old town which took a while to get to from the Salzburg Cathederal.
Interior: Incredibly run down, alley was dark with only a hanging light bulb when we first opened the door. Rooms were so small compared to the photos. We couldn’t even fully open the door nor fit the suitcases cuz it was so so cramped. The bathroom was run down with molds observed within the wall corners. Overall environment was primitive and shabby.
Amenities: NO LIFT, NO AC. We moved in only to know there’s NO AC. We understand and respect the legislations on historical property protection (thereby installing an AC requires approval by the authorities and going through the paperwork), but at least there should be some EFFECTIVE portable cooling devices and not just a fan that’s not cooling at all. We’re talking about the sweltering heat during summer in Europe. The property is not at fault for this extreme weather, but is surely responsible for taking extra steps in preparing for hosting guests under this extreme summery weather. Stairs are STEEP. If anyone is coming with elderly/ children, BEWARE. This property has surely overstated its value for purporting as a “guesthouse”. It shouldn’t even exist to host guests and travelers. Large scale maintenance and renovation is a must for this place to be livable for hosting guests and travelers, especially for a property as historical as such and charging at this price rate (144 euros per night on average).
Host attitude and hospitality: ZERO. We checked in through an intercom and never saw anyone on the property. There’s NO RECEPTION TO ASSIST- beware there’s nowhere if anyone is thinking about storing their luggages at the property/ reception upon check out.
