Palazzo Pisani & Spa Malta

Breakfast could be more varied. Location is good, near most of the other cities, I like the building very much. I did not expect such small rooms, but was not a big problem.

Le palazzo est un endroit de rêve, cette architecture et ce coin piscine est idéal pour se poser et se reposer. Le personnel est très a l'écoute et très sympathique et nous donne beaucoup de conseils sur les activités à faire. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et le cadre magnifique. Merci pour ce séjour.

La beauté du lieu , la gentillesse du patron. Merci pour son accueil et ses précieux conseils pour visiter La Valette . L’établissement est très beau .

The hotel was beautiful. Rooms were very clean and bed very comfortable. Air con perfect as very hot. Staff were very friendly and attentive and made us feel very welcomed. Pool area was lovely and peaceful to sit around during the day. Breakfast was nice but not what I could expect for a 5* rated hotel.

Nous avons tout aimé ! L’hôtel est magnifique, un vrai havre de paix. Nous avons été très bien accueilli et nous avions l’impression d’être à la maison grâce à Alexis et sa famille.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez notre hôte Alex à Malte ! L’accueil a été chaleureux, l’hôte disponible à toute heure du jour et de la nuit, attentionné et toujours prêt à nous aider lorsque nous en avions besoin.

Le logement était très agréable, propre, confortable et parfaitement situé pour profiter de Malte. Nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis comme chez nous.

Un grand merci pour la qualité de l’accueil et pour toutes les petites attentions qui ont rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Nous recommandons cet hébergement les yeux fermés et nous y retournerions avec grand plaisir lors d’un prochain séjour à Malte ! 🇲🇹☀️

Palazzo Pisani — A Restored Jewel in the Heart of Żabbar
Every so often you come across a place that lingers with you long after you've checked out, and Palazzo Pisani is precisely that. Tucked away in the heart of Żabbar, this boutique property is a genuine gem, the kind of discovery that feels almost too good to share.
I arrived wanting nothing more than to switch off and rest, but as a local architect I confess I couldn't help scrutinising the building itself. Palazzo Pisani is a superb example of Maltese vernacular architecture, and what impressed me most was the intelligence of its restoration. The conversion has been handled with real sensitivity: the historic fabric, the proportions, the traditional detailing and the character of the original palazzo have all been carefully preserved, while modern comforts have been woven in so seamlessly that nothing feels forced or out of place. It is a masterclass in how to marry heritage with contemporary living, a balance far easier to describe than to achieve.
The pool is simply fantastic, an inviting space that quickly became my favourite spot to unwind. The spa was equally memorable; I booked a massage and can only say that it was so thoroughly relaxing I could barely walk straight afterwards, a compliment, I assure you, of the highest order.
We dined at the property twice, and on both occasions the food was a highlight. It was authentic, honest and genuinely excellent... the sort of cooking that reflects real care and a respect for local produce and tradition, rather than anything contrived for the tourist palate.
Yet for all the beauty of the building, the quality of the pool, the spa and the kitchen, what elevated the stay from excellent to exceptional was the people. The staff and the owners are warm, sincere and unfailingly attentive, always ready to go well beyond the expected. There is a genuine hospitality here, a sense of being genuinely looked after, that simply cannot be manufactured.

The garden and pool are a rare paradise - so much green and so many trees to lie in the shade of. Malta this summer was exceptionally hot and one may feel like there is just not enough shade anywhere. This property is an amazing exception. Alexis is a generous host, super fast at communicating, with lots of tips of what to see and do. What is more, and very much appreciated: he let us stay and enjoy the pool and garden even after checkout (because we needed to be at the airport only later). There is a pingpong table and toys for smaller kids and the pool is open around the clock - a swim late in the evening is often needed in Malta for comfort. In the evening, we had a wonderful meal in the courtyard, prepared with a lot of love and care for our individual needs. Thank you!

Le lieu est historique et magique. Parfaitement bien situé. L’accueil du fils des propriétaires Lucas fut extraordinaire. Enfin l’art de recevoir ! Si rare de nos jours. Quand aux propriétaires, à l’image de leur fils : attentionnés , extrêmement accueillant et sympathiques, tous 3 de très bons conseils pour les excursions . En bref nous reviendrons juste pour eux et aussi pour leur magnifique hôtel

Excellent séjour au Palazzo Pizani, un endroit magnifique et hors du temps. L'accueil est chaleureux, la chambre confortable. Le personnel est très sympatique. Alexis est particulièrement attentif aux besoins de ses clients et toujours avide de bons conseils pour les excursions. Une très belle expérience, nous recommandons vivement cet étéblissement.

The facilities were excellent with extremely beautiful surroundings. Meals were of top quality and the staff were only too happy to help in any way possible.

La struttura è un palazzo nobiliare ristrutturato molto bene. la struttura è minimale, ma funzionale e completa. Il responsabile dell'albergo è molto preparato e può organizzare qualsiasi gita o servizio.

Nous avons été super bien accueilli, Alex et sa compagne sont bienveillants et très agréables, ainsi que toute son équipe. Nous avons dîner au bord de la piscine avec une petite musique d'ambiance et des produits frais préparés dans les règles de l'art, tout était nickel et le petit déj au top.

Alexis, the owner, and all his staff and family were fantastic. They recommended and planned our day if we asked, always ready to help, the breakfast was delicious, and the fish and calamari we had for dinner was to die for. Nothing was too much trouble. Can't recommend this place enough.
Also, the hotel was out of the touristy area, which we found nice and quiet.
