WoodSpring Suites Bowling Green I-65

Upon booking I spoke with an employee about a 1st floor nearest an exit room due to bringing two dogs. Didn’t want to haul dogs through a building to disrupt other guests. They said that’s no problem we will have a room for you on the first floor. We go to check in (3:14pm) a sign says check in is at 3:00pm but there is no one at the desk and no where in sight… A sign says call 500 using the desk phone if no one is available. There’s no phone.. okay no problem.. after 5 minutes someone shows up. He puts us on the 4th floor in the middle of the building. I said we need a first floor room, i had spoke to someone prior to booking. He said there’s no rooms available nor is there a room of the type of suite we booked. Okay I let it go.. I get to the room the pull out couch has no sheets and it’s filthy, has blood stains. As a former housekeeper this was unacceptable. The rooms aren’t checked prior to guest entering. I call down to the desk about having someone come put sheets on the pull out couch bed. He said no one is here to do that I can come down and grab them… the floor was dirty and sticky, there were crumbs and other debris on the floor. The next day our cards stopped working, so we go down to get them fixed and again not one person is in sight or available. We waited quite a while. A lady comes in saying sorry she has to clean rooms and run the reception desk while taking phone calls and taking out the trash. This is completely unacceptable! I would have quit if I were her. We heard other people complaining about dirty towels. Honestly such a horrible experience

No ice machine, the doors inside you must use key to enter, but the doors are so heavy you almost get knocked down after you scan your key, then try to squeeze thru while holding door open

Cockroaches smashed into the wall in the bathroom, the floor in the room was disgusting and sticky and oily in areas

They automatically put me in the wrong room. A downgraded room! Not the room that I had reserved. When I asked about changing to the right room, none were available. They hadn't been cleaned. And he said they wouldn't be cleaned until the next day! I left and went to another hotel. I recommend not going to this one. They are crooked!

No hand towels, no coffee, no curtains for outside light, hardly any soap or shampoo…
