Wonderful stay on the lake. Delia y Wilmer are amazing host! Wonderful meal and warm and comfortable room.
We stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at Titicaca Origins Peru. It was a perfect blend of rustic and modern. Wilbur and Delia were wonderful hosts and provided us with the necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable while at the same time allowing us to enjoy a Uros experience. The room was very clean and the bed so comfortable. They also set up an excursion to Taquile Island. The continental breakfast was satisfying and the dinners were tasty Peruvian meals. I highly recommend this place!
Delia took care of us like family. My friend got sick and she helped us in so many ways to make my friend feel better, we really appreciate it. My friend felt much better the next day and he was even able to take a tour with me. If we go back to Puno, we’ll stay there again.
We got to meet the entire family who runs the hotel. We are going back next year.
The property is beautiful, and the family here is so sweet and welcoming. They have an option to have lunch and dinner made for you, which I highly recommend as you are not on the mainland. The food was delicious and healthy. The view of the stars at night was breathtaking. The option to dress in traditional cloths and have a reed boat ride on the lake at sunset was unforgettable. This was my favorite part of our Peru trip, and I wish we had the opportunity to stay even longer.
Wilber and his wife Delia are the most welcoming hosts and cooks. They catered to our very hectic schedule and we still left relaxed. Highly recommend!
A wonderful cabin on a floating island with owners-the cutest couple ever who did go above and beyond to be our best hosts.
Owners are very nice, our cabin was nice as well.
WiFi is not 24-hour available. Credit card reader was not working. The owner is nice.
Great stay with very kind hosts. This is a B&B type lodging where a married couple (Adelia and Wilmar) caters to your needs. You'll sleep in a comfortable hut on the island with more amenities than you'd imagine was possible while staying on a floating island: Hot water, running water, in-room propane heater, compositing toilet. Adelia and her sister serve tasty simple meals. Wilmar will shuttle you to/from the mainland and take you on a quick tour on his reed boat. The couple has done an amazing job creating everything on the island. The island itself, the solar panels, water pumps, drainage, fish farm, huts, etc. were all built by them. I had a wonderful time learning about their way of life and enjoying the breathtaking (literally and figuratively) views.
Our stay was unforgettable. The hosts are so kind and accommodating, and it was such an enriching experience to get to know them and experience their culture for a day. The rooms are very beautiful, and the homemade dinner was delicious. This was without a doubt our best overnight stay during our 3 week trip in Peru.
Our stay here was very nice. The view from our room and balcony was beautiful & very peaceful. The family was so nice and helpful. The food they made was tasty. We ate breakfast and dinner twice. It was such a unique stay that I’d recommend. It gets chilly at night but wear layers and you are fine. They bring hot water bottles to keep you warm. I would also recommend charging your electronics before coming because we didn’t have an outlet in our room to charge but we had a charge pack with us so it wasn’t an issue.
