This place is a jewel!
Pros:

The location was central in Ghaxaq and we walked everywhere. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly and helpful. Our room was stunning - far beyond our expectations. And the hotel itself is so beautiful - the library room, the little bar, the courtyard. We had a nap in the afternoon with our French door open, and the sound of the water trickling from the fountain felt like we were sleeping in a palace. AND so close to the airport, when it was time to leave. This place is a jewel.

Pros:

Nous devions quitter l'hôtel 30 min avant l'ouverture du petit déjeuner. Le personnel nous a préparé un sac avec plein de bonnes choses a manger à emporter.

L'hôtel est magnifique, le personnel au petit soin et les chambres royales. J'y retournerai sans hésiter .

Extremely pleasant stay
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, super clean with high quality linen and furniture. Very spacious room and bathroom. The staff are outstanding. Every single one of them. Very close to airport

Pros:

Room was perfect and cosy. The whole hotel was clean and nice. The old palazzo was perfectly renovated!
We had a dinner in the hotel restaurant, it was amazing!

Very attractive old property beautifully modernised and very comfortable.

Cons:

Location. Visiting at the end of February as a non driver there were no restaurants or coffee shops so to get to them I had to take a half hour bus ride or taxi to Valetta.
The breakfasts were very good but food between then and 6pm was a small poor choice. The restaurant had the same menu choice each evening which for a 6 night stay was disappointing and no where else to eat unless taking a bus or taxi in the dark. As a single 80 year old I wasn’t prepared to do this.
