Virtu on the Hill is a magical property that provided us with beautiful memories!
Pros:

Everything about Virtu on the Hill was amazing. The second we arrived we were greeted with smiles and made to feel welcome. The staff is absolutely amazing! It is a family run property, with an amazing story. We really enjoyed meeting the daughters of the owner and playing games with them- they are such sweet kids! By the end of our four days we felt like we were saying goodbye to family.

The included breakfasts were so yummy and well portioned. We also ate a couple of dinners there and were so happy with each meal.

The view is incredible! We kept taking pictures of the same spot because we were just in awe every day. It’s also a very convenient spot to call home as you travel the island. I will be recommending this property to all my friends and hope to return myself someday!

Schönes Hotel an imposanter Hanglage
Pros:

tolle Aussicht; freundliches Personal; das Frühstück ohne Buffet mit Vorbestellung ist eher ungewöhnlich, war aber sehr fein

Hotel ist nur mit Mietwagen oder Taxi erreichbar, Pool im September eher kalt

Les places de parc trop limitées et pas pratiques qui oblige à lasser les clefs à la réception. L’exposition au vent (meltem) de l’établissement qui fait que nous n’avons presque pas pu profiter des extérieurs et notamment des piscines.

Pros:

Tout simplement les meilleures vacances de notre vie. La gérante et tout le personnel et aux petits soins et toujours souriant. Les chambres sont belles, toujours propres. La nourriture, repas du soir ou petit déjeuner mériterait la note de 20/10. La cheffe en cuisine est un vrai cordon bleu, et les repas sont fait à la minute. Point d’honneur sur le calme et la tranquillité infaillible de l’hôtel. Nous reviendrons c’est certain!

It was genuinely beautiful. It’s far away from any town, but the view is stunning.

Cons:

We had an extremely uncomfortable experience at this venue. Without going into detail, we reported an incident to the staff who then failed to apologise or rectify the situation. Upon checkout they actually asked us not to include details of the incident in our reviews and threatened us with legal action when we requested the issue be rectified. They told us the owner was a famous footballer and that we shouldn’t include any negative experience in our reviews. It’s safe to say we absolutely do not recommend.

Amazing spot and views but unreasonable price which cannot be justified considering the service.
Pros:

Gorgeous views and pretty rooms.
You can sit by the pool for hours and watch the planes land and the waves crash into the beach below.
4 Parking spots in front, rest 2 min walk which is fine.
Comfy furniture by Pool and balcony and very nice bathroom.

Cons:

Such potential wasted with lack of love and care.
Way too expensive for what it is.
We understand it was windy, but pool furniture was covered in cat Hair and pool was not very clean.
The vibe by staff was not very comfortable and a lot of misimformation given. Friendlyness seemed forced and passive aggressive. Unfortunately we did not extend our stay for that money.

Kjempefint hotell og koselig personale, fantastisk utsikt og flotte basseng, vi følte også veldig godt ivaretatt. Merket kanskje litt at all personalet var ikke profesjonelle, men det hadde sin sjarm.

Cons:

Vi hadde ikke bil, slik at du blir da avhengig av taxi og det er ikke så billig på øyene, i tillegg så er der ingen kiosk eller butikker i nærheten. Men mulig å bestille med Wolt. Jeg som er glad i brus, synes at 5 EUR på hotellet for en brus (0,33L) var dyrt, når alle restauranter mm tar 3,5EUR, som også ikke er billig.
