Hotel, Cocoview Valle de angeles

They said they are hotel and restaurant but they don’t have a restaurant working. They don’t even have bottles of water for the guests. They never gave us the key of the room, it feels insecure place. According to the app we were going to have a bigger room. They charge me fee to guarantee the reservation even when in the app says that we would pay in the place the day of registration.

I reserved through Booking com. But almost information was wrong. The worst one is the wrong location on a map. This hotel is located so far from center of Valle de angels and there are nothing near the hotel even though it is said that it’s near from center in the map of booking com. Motor Taxi “tuku tuku” will finish at the 6pm so this hotel is really inconvenient without car. Other wrong information is that we couldn’t use same room as my booking and we couldn’t use credit cards even though it’s said I can use…

After having the reservation for a few weeks, they sent me a message a few days before to tell me that they don't have space anymore.

There is a bathroom in one. From the rooms that smell horrible

Common areas could be a bit more welcoming and comfortable
It is hard to reach (the roads are not so good)

Nothing no running water, had ants, nothing about it is correct and than Jefa wouldn’t let us leave until charging us extra money for a room we already were charged extra for even though or reservation said something different! Oh and there entire hotel floods on the main floor have buckets to catch the water and a hole in the ceiling how lovely!

Not 2 beds, just 1. Netflix worked on the 3rd day. At check-in, the personnel were sleeping and lasted 30 min to open the doors, no matter we made them aware of late arrivals. There is not any support to get local transportation. You have to figure it out by yourself. The place is about 6km away from the town in a place that's not easy to get a mototaxi. The sheet was stained. Since I booked, I tried to get in contact with the host.... that was impossible. I had to look for cellular phone numbers on the internet to contact someone. The guards taking care of the place were kind but couldn't help to get transportation. Coco is not a hotel. They do not have the regular services that a hotel provides. Payment was also an issue. The pos terminal didn't work well. Payment was managed through an emailed link.... so you need to have a good internet signal to make the payment.
At the bathroom, when you take a shower, the water spills everywhere because there is not any curtain to prevent it from happening. Should be advisable to offer hot water. One of the table lamps in the bedroom didn't work at all.
Conclusion The place has a good ubication and has potential, but they need to invest more in customer service and fix the installation at the bathroom and repair the lamps.

My bathroom was very ugly and the floor was stained with paint and wet when we did the check in.

They changed last minute our bedroom… presidential suite… but there’s was no bed sheets! They gave it to us so we had to put them on.
One of the bedside table light couldn’t turn on, button was broken.
Out of 4 shower head in the bathroom only one worked.
Hot water takes 5 minutes to get to the shower.
They didn’t told us what was for breakfast, or offer a choice, the first breakfast we had was served cold..
We informed them of the situation…they didn’t do anything. I will never go there again
