Cons:

Daily weddings lasting till midnight, we couldn't sleep from the noise.
Slamming doors were extremely disturbing, woke us up multiple times. Unclean prayer mat.
Definitely not a 5 Star experience.

The rooms are very nice and modern, with a nice lighting concept. The location is good, and the free gym is decent. The staff was very friendly, and I especially want to thank Menna, Rewan, and Osama Mounier for their outstanding service and support.
We got a free welcome drink at the reception, even though we arrived at 2:30 a.m. in the middle of the night. That was a really nice touch!
The falafels at breakfast were freshly fried, outstanding!

Cons:

Sauna is NOT included; you have to pay extra.
Pool opening hours are limited.

Breakfast is really nice! Really good variety of cold and hot food! As a vegan, it was a good breakfast. As a recommendation: Labels for vegetarian and vegan food would be great! Also, one vegan bread spread, like paprika, would be nice.

Nothing significant. Since I booked without meals, I didn’t try the food, but everything else exceeded my expectations.
Pros:

I had a great experience staying at this hotel in Alexandria. The place is very comfortable, clean, and has a relaxing atmosphere that made my stay really enjoyable.

I would especially like to highlight two staff members who made a real difference — Marwan and Rawan from the reception. They were extremely polite, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Their attitude truly reflects great hospitality.

Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Cons:

Honestly, nothing major. Everything was great, but a bit more variety in the restaurant menu would make the experience even better.

طاقم العمل والموظفين جداً متعاونين، محترمين وودودين

الموقع سيء وزحمه جداً، الموقف بالنسبة لفندق 5 نجوم كانت مشتركة وعليها رسوم لليوم ولا يوجد مظلات للسيارت والموقف بعيد ليس امام باب الفندق مباشرة. بعض الغرف مطله على المسبح وهو نادي للسباحة ليس له علاقة بالفندق (نادي سموحة) الاصوات مزعجه وتحس بعدم الخصوصيه والراحة، الستائر ليس جيدة ولا تغطي كامل النوافذ. اللوبي سيء مليئ بالمدخنين ولا يصلح للعوائل المحافظة، لابد من المرور أمام المدخنين للعبور إلى المصعد.. بالنسبه لتفاصيل الغرفه ماكينة القهوة كانت عاطله وتسرب القهوه. لم يتم توفير سجادة الصلاة إلا عند الطلب، بالنسبة للنظافة بشكل عام لم تكن مريحة، دفع المياه في الحمام كان ضعيفًا، وعدة الحمام لم تكن متوفره كفندق مصنف بخمس نجوم بشكل كامل مثل فرشاة الأسنان.. الخ. الفوط كانت نوعًا ما غير نظيفة.

Awful. Ruined my stay in Alexandria.
Pros:

The breakfast buffet is OK.
The hotel decor is nice.

Cons:

Bed mattresses were awful. No support, might as well have been stuffed with straw.
Restaurant staff were sarcastic to my travel buddy which really caused dramas and spoilt the whole day.
Trying to get served in the restaurant is bad. The staff, plenty of them, ignoring us and just chatting or arguing amongst themselves.
Harrassed by restaurant staff as to was I an IHG guest and my room number. Kept harrassing me even while I was eating my meal. (I had this same nonsense when I stayed at IHG's Dead Sea resort. Seems to be a tend).
Restaurant is next to terrace, where in the evenings it becomes very loud music. So its like eating dinner in the middle of a night club.
Unstocked mini-fridge. They wouldn't stock it.
Restaurant brought me wrong order, then challenged me to show them on the menu where the item was that I said I had ordered. (Of course, I was able to show them. But no apology for their mistake or rudeness).
