Es gibt einige Kritikpunkte, die uns aber nicht so wichtig waren. Wir würden wieder buchen.
Pros:

Das Abendessen war klasse !!! (2x im Hotel bei 3 Abenden gegessen, (es wird kein Alkohol (Bier, Wein) zum Essen ausgeschenkt)
Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind im 10ten Stock mit toller Aussicht. Wir hatten die Suite mit Blick auf die Ausgrabungen.
Die Terrassenmöbel waren leider nicht geputzt. Zum hinsetzen mussten wir die Möbel erst mal grob reinigen.
Das Personal, die Lage des Hotels waren sehr gut. Der Transfer nach Kairo mit einem vermittelten Fahrer war preislich ok und war sehr gut.
Es gab keinen Zimmerservice bzw. man hat uns nicht gesagt, das man ihn extra ordern sollte.
Das Frühstück war für mich mittel, keine Auswahl. Entweder euröpäisch oder arabisch, jeden tag das gleiche :-(
Wir würden das Hotel wieder buchen. Empfehlung.

Cons:

kein Zimmerservice bzw. kein Hinweis das man sich melden muß, die Terrassenmöbel waren nicht sauber, der Rollo im Schlafzimmer ging nicht, keine große Auswahl beim Frühstück. Und natürlich die Nachts übliche Lärmkulisse, wie eigentlich überall in den Städten.

Better than expected.
Pros:

The restaurant attached the hotel, Ceres, is fantastic. I liked everything I tried there. Very friendly and helpful staff. They were willing to help even in unusual circumstances. The location was excellent, close walking distance to downtown as well as the Moharam Bek neighborhood which I spent a lot of time exploring.

Cons:

The shower head was quite short, I'm only average height and my head was touching it, minor nit-pick.
At first I thought the hotel had bad internet, but as it turns out, the entire city has slow internet, so can't blame them for that, just a warning.

Ein nettes Hotel über den Dächern von Alexandria mit Blick auf die Ausgrabungsstätte
Pros:

Unbedingt empfehlenswert ist das umfangreiche und leckere oriental breakfast mit den weltbesten „Falafel-Donuts“.

Cons:

Der verstopfte Ablauf in der Dusche wurde während unseres 4-tägigen Aufenthalts nicht behoben.

Bel hôtel de charme
Pros:

Très bel hôtel rétro,beaucoup de charme avec vue .
Chambres spacieuses, très propre.
Excellent petit déjeuner égyptien ou continental, serveur très professionnel.
Un hôtel de charme.

Cons:

Pas de sèche cheveux (c'est un détail).
Un Supplément de 45 euros (demandé le 2e jour)pour une chambre avec un grand lit et 2 petits lits ,nous avions précisé via Booking.com que nous étions 3 et accepté par l'hôtel ?

Pros:

L'hotel si trova nella parte centrale della città, affaccia sul teatro romano e si trova a pochi minuti a piedi dall museo greco- romano, dal museo nazionale e da altri punti di interesse. Con una breve passeggiata si raggiunge anche la Corniche.
La struttura è un po' datata e le camere (almeno la mia) andrebbero rinnovate (arredo un po' vecchiotto, vasca con doccia e tenda decisamente old-style, moquette discutibile); il balcone, molto ampio, offriva però una magnifica vista sul teatro romano.
Il ristorante interno presenta un menù di tutto rispetto a prezzi più che abbordabili.
Ma ciò che ho apprezzato di più è stata l'ospitalità, la gentilezza, l'estrema disponibilità del personale; dal proprietario alla reception, tutti si sono fatti in quattro per aiutarmi a risolvere i problemi che possono venirsi a creare durante un viaggio.
Ci tornerei, decisamente.

Cons:

Salvo il bisogno di ammodernare alcuni aspetti della struttura, nulla.

Un hôtel vieillissant dans un bon emplacement
Pros:

La taille de la chambre, nous avons logé dans une petite suite, avec un balcon privatif, et une belle vue sur l'ancien site romain. Des lits confortables, une grande salle de bain. Un look de vieil hôtel . Une belle salle de restaurant et une belle terrasse .
Un bon emplacement, des restaurants proches, la corniche et la mer à 10 minutes à pied par des rues animées.
Personnel de service plutôt sympathique

Cons:

L'ensemble mériterait une bonne rénovation. Chauffage (clim réversible ) en panne. Equipement de salle de bains un peu déglinguée, avec un faux plafond qui commence à tomber...Petit déjeuner correct, sans plus. Mais une isolation phonique inexistante (simple vitrage branlant) bouchons d'oreille plus qu'indispensables
