I can’t say enough about this place, we had a wonderful stayed and wish we could have stayed another day. The family that runs/owns the accommodation is wonderful and couldn’t do enough for us, I highly recommend this hotel.
The toilet is the only thing but it’s an island, the shower ect it’s fine.

Absolutely gorgeous rooms with an amazing view of the lake. The family is so kind and the meals are delicious. We enjoyed the tour of the floating islands and experiencing the traditional boat as we learned about the building structures and culture. This was the best place we stayed in our 3 weeks in Peru, it's a must don't miss it. It was super organised with transport and logistics too. Our train was delayed from Cusco and they were still there to pick us up 2 hours later in the dark. And the same seamless organisation for us making our flight from Juliaca on the other side. The outdoor spaces and beds are so comfortable to relax on during the day too. Highly recommend.

I had the pleasure of staying at Casitas del Titicaca for three nights, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and cared for by the incredibly warm and attentive hosts. The property is uniquely situated on a floating island, offering breathtaking views of Lake Titicaca and an unforgettable cultural experience.

The casitas themselves are cozy, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need. Waking up to the sunrise over the lake and falling asleep to the gentle sound of water was truly special. Every meal was delicious and homemade with love — the fresh trout was especially memorable!

What made this stay even more meaningful was the chance to learn about the Uros people’s traditions and lifestyle directly from the hosts. It felt authentic and enriching — not like a tourist show, but a genuine sharing of culture and hospitality.

If you’re looking for a unique, peaceful, and heartwarming experience in Peru, I can’t recommend Casitas del Titicaca enough. I left feeling inspired and grateful — and I can’t wait to return one day.

Eder and his family are excellent hosts – friendly, responsive, and attentive to guests’ needs. The property has stunning views, clean rooms, and good food. The island is peaceful, ideal for relaxing, and the clear night skies make stargazing a real treat. The tour of Uros islands is also included and allows you to discover local culture. Highly recommend this property!

Great experience with the family running the place

Obviously you won't have all the comfort of a normal hotel, keep in mind it's an island made of straw in the middle of a lake! I was actually surprised about the hot showers and comfortable bed. Eder and his family were super nice and helped us know the area, their customs and traditions, and facilitated a lot of our transportation and tours.

Location is very serene. The food fresh and excellent flavor. Eder and his family are super friendly. The free tour of the Uros community was informative and interesting.

Starting from the family of Eder, who was very hospitable, friendly and attentive. We are traveling a lot, and I can say, that it was the warmest reception, we ever had in our life!
Out house was very beautiful, comfortable with incredible view to the lake and the sky full of stars at night!
Family of Eder prepared for us lots of interactions, like fishing, walking by the traditional boat, getting in touch with the local community.

The place is what we needed to disconnect from the world and just enjoy beautiful nature, silence, amazing panorama from the bedroom. A gem!

Also, the logistics worked great with pickup and back to puno

Some staff speaks English fluidly and chat with us about community and Peru culture. The room is quite well equipped with electricity and hot water. They have extra blankets and fire places to stay warm during night. The stars are amazing. They also provided fishing experience and community visit experience. They dropped us off at the meeting point for Taquile Island visit. Well running business that we enjoyed our stay.

We wanted an experience on the floating islands and this is what we have got. The casitas are great, you enjoy the silence and the view of the lake. The family was great and trying to make the best for you to feel good. I really recommend if you want the experience. They make the best out of what they have so make sure that you have fair expectations
