Excellent location, very far from the myriad Pizza joints in Puno.
Pros:

For me this property is in the ideal location, out of the city of Puno and immediately adjacent to Uros only a very short boat ride away. The location offers a spectacular view of the city lights at night as a surprise bonus. The owners are excellent people and eager to please. Nestor waited in the harbour for substantial extra time to meet me when my tour shuttle was later than anticipated. As a multigenerational native of the lake, he is also exceedingly knowledgeable about nature in the area and provided an exceptional birding boat tour through the marsh where we saw lots of cool birds

Cons:

Breakfasts could have had a little more variety, but I totally understand that is not easy or cheap to do in this particular location. It was certainly not an issue for me, but if you're a foodie you would be disappointed (and you are probably in the wrong place to begin with as this is not a reason to come to Uros Islands.

Unforgettable!
Pros:

Before you go, it is important to know that the hotel is located on Uros Island and that it is an eco-hotel. For me, this was what made this hotel stand out and what made it unique. The breakfast is great. Nestor and Ana are two Uros indigenous people who run the hotel and the conversations with them were fantastic. Nestor helped us with everything and Ana made us an excellent dinner. The view from the room is stunning and watching the sunset from the deck was unforgettable. I want to go back.

Cons:

There was nothing I didn't like. I wish I could have stayed longer in Uros.

Pros:

Nestle is the name of the owner. He is really nice, gave me a tour around, letting me wear traditional clothes. I was late for the arrival of Puno, but he kindly pick me up at the port at night. Wonderful experience overall, highly recommend it.
