Es una monada de sitio en una isla flotante. Está muy bien puesto teniendo en cuenta las condiciones que ofrecen estas islas de totora. Llegamos mucho más tarde de lo previsto a Puno (sobre las. 21h de noche cerrada) y Felipe (el dueño del lodge) ya había contactado con la responsable de nuestro tour para saber exactamente si así llegábamos, nos había organizado un taxi que nos recogió y no llevó al lago donde él nos estaba esperando . Hasta nos ofreció cena cuando llegamos ya casi a las 22h . La habitación muy chula, pero eso si, un frío que pelaba. Te ponen un calefactor de butano como el que ponen en las terrazas que tuvimos que poner un rato antes de dormir. Las camas cómodas y muchas mantas y nos trajo botellas de agua caliente que fue una bendición

Cons:

Como baja tanto la temperatura por la noche cuál fue nuestra sorpresa a la mañana siguiente…que no nos pudimos duchar porque el agua estaba congelada. Eso es parte de la aventura pero estaría bien haberlo sabido. Hace tanto frío de noche que nos propusieron dormir con gorro

Localisation sur les îles flottantes d Uros - les vues sur le lac - la taille des chambres - la gentillesse des hôtes - la qualité des repas

Pros:

We loved our stay here! It is beautiful, comfortable, and clean, with amazing views of the lake from the deck/sunbed. Eddie, Felipe, and the whole family were welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Cons:

Only one small con was that it took quite a while to get warm water, but we were told about this in advance & it was to be expected.

breathtaking view on the sunset over Titicaca lake, clean comfortable accommodation, copious breakfast, simple but tasty dinners, timely transport to/from the port Kalapajra

Cons:

It's freezing cold during nights so turn on the heating on as soon as you arrive. The family providing accomodation is taking their guest on a visit to a Uros island to visit locals (visit includes the explanation of how islands are built, presentation of food and living spaces of Uru natives, review of local crafts). The visit was pleasant, we bought some textile craft and learnt new things. Next day we went on a whole day boat trip with another tour provider that also made a stop on a different Uros island. The stories were identical, even jokes were the same, so was the overpriced craft. Please be aware that these visits are heavily scripted with the aim to make you financially support the Uru community.

The lake view was amazing and the whole environment really quiet! There was nice breakfast and dinner and the owners got us to a nice tour around some other floating houses in the lake.

Cons:

Since the room is located on a floated house, when there were small ripples created by passing-by boats, you felt it move.

Die Zimmer sind sehr komfortabel und Frühstück und Abendessen sind ausgezeichnet.
