Nothing, it was basic and they charged me extra
I recently stayed at White Palace in Dhaka, and overall, I left feeling quite disappointed. On arrival, the staff were polite and welcoming, but actually finding the place was a bit of a challenge. I arrived a couple of hours earlier than my check-in time, and although they let me in, they charged me an additional half of the booking price, which felt excessive.
Coming from the UK, I found the rooms very underwhelming compared to the photos online. They were basic at best — essentially just a bed and a TV — and several areas were noticeably dusty. On the plus side, I didn’t encounter any mosquitoes, which was a relief.
One important thing to note is that the price you see on the booking site does not include tax, so the final amount ends up being significantly higher than expected.
Given the overall quality and the amount I paid, I personally wouldn’t choose to stay here again

The location wasn’t too bad
There was no hot water or heating after arguing with them the room finally got changed but still no heating, we had to wear a sweater to bed. They switch the lift off after a certain time and blame everything on maintenance
The entrance, reception and restaurant are exceptionally clean and beautiful. The room description was slightly different to the one that I booked for. There was a single bed instead of a sofa bed, however they did provide an extra bed after several requests without any charge. Shuttle service to the airport was really useful. It took us to the airport in less than 10 minutes.
They tried to charge for an extra bed although we booked for 4 people. The hand shower wasn't working and the basin kept on moving which was inconvenient.
