The windows on the lake and the stuff - really amazing
The place is quite far from the center. We had to take a taxi for $8 to get to the center, which took about 25 minutes. It was also difficult to get back, as some taxi drivers either refused to go or raised the price to $15. But the view from the window was worth it.
The room was quite shabby, with holes in the curtains, old towels, and the bed placed near an electrical socket… The headboard was touching the light switch behind it, and we could hear sparking sounds… a bit dangerous!))
I really liked the view from the window and the sweet and helpful lady at the front desk.
What makes the hotel special is the personel. The owner, Stephan, is a fantastic person who runs a family business and took extra time to talk to us, give us valuable insight, made sure we were taken care off and safe. The ladies who run the place for him are also spectacular.
The location is a bit off Puno, on the other side than the little harbour from which the Titicaca boats leave. But it is not far and if you want to avoid the chaos of Puno, this is perfect.
The breakfast is lovely, with fresh fruits and strong coffee.
The views of lake Tititcaca are simply stunning.
We liked everything and everyone, maybe just the facilities (especially the bathroom plumbing and water fixtures) could be a bit reviewed. But these are small things, we had a very nice stay without any negative.
Sehr freundliches und verständnisvolles Personal
Ruhige Lage direkt am See
Hotel durch Pandemie etwas heruntergekommen
