Rena and her husband are phenomenal! Had the most lovely stay! Beautiful hotel, great location (walkable to town), everything you could need to enjoy the lovely island! I 10/10 recommend you stay here!

beautiful rooms, bathroom with great hot water, nice balcony, and staff was very attentive and gave us personal attention. also free pick up and drop off from ferry and airport which is a huge time saver . nice light breakfast was served. rooms were on the smaller side. overall a great value

It was an absolute pleasure staying in Castellum!
The apartments are brand new (just in their third month of operation), so everything was in top condition. The apartment is very spacious and very well equipped, with a fully equipped kitchen, toiletries in the bathroom, a very big and comfortable bed, a couch which could serve as a third bed and a nice balcony with views of the old castle. And let’s not forget to mention the excellent shower!
The apartment is ideally situated: it’s in a quiet part of town, there’s a car park and supermarkets nearby, it’s a 5 minute walk to the port, where there’s the bus station and a taxi stand, a 5 - 10 minute walk to the town centre, with loads of restaurants and shops, and a 20 minute walk to the nearest beach.
But what made this stay here especially rememberable are the owners! Rena and her daughter Sofia took really great care of us! Rena contacted us before arrival and made us feel welcome already. When our travel plans had to change, Rena was very cooperative and accommodating to our needs, which was very much appreciated! Rena’s husband picked us up from the airport (and dropped us off again as well), which is an excellent service. Sofia explained everything about Naxos and gave solid advice on our plans and helped us arranging our holiday. Sofia also rents out cars, which is very convenient.
Every day a complementary breakfast can be collected at the reception, with homemade pastries and homegrown fruits, and coffee, tea, crackers and toppings provided in the apartment. All very much appreciated as well!
The family really made us feel as if we were part of them, even the lady cleaning was lovely and did her job very well, and Rena even made our departure personal, which was very kind of her and much appreciated!

Beautiful accommodation and super friendly welcome. The breakfast was delicious. Only 5 minutes walk to the old town of Naxos. The owner collected us from the port, a 3 minutes drive away, which was very welcome. Highly recommend Pension Sofia. Would certainly return when next in Naxos.

El lugar está impecable, la habitación es amplia y cómoda.te sirven un desayuno gratuito, casero fresco como si estuvieras en tu casa.sus dueños son encantadores.a pesar de estar a 7 minutos caminando desde el Puerto te ofrecen un transfer al llegar y al irte.cuando llegas te reciben caludamente con un refresco y te cuentan lo que puedes hacer en la isla.su información fue muy útil.lo pasé genial con ellos.

Sofi, Rena and her husband are all so lovely and cannot do enough for you. Their car hire service is cheap and absolutely hassle free. There is a kettle and Nespresso machine in the spacious room and we really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning. It is in a great location, 7 minute walk to port and bus station and 5 minutes up the steps to the Old Town. I cannot fault them and would thoroughly recommend. We stayed in their new block which is attached - Castellum Suites.

Everything was wonderful . The family that owns and runs the place are lovely.

We were collected at the port and taken to our accommodation by Theodore with a wonderful commentary along the way. Once we arrived he helped us in with our bags and we met his wife Rena. She welcomed us with a cool refreshment and checked us in. We stayed for two nights. Both mornings we were given a delightful breakfast to eat on our balcony. It's a family run business so everyone is invested in making your stay the best experience possible. They were very helpful with information regarding restaurants and sights to see. We were less than a ten minute walk to restaurants and shops. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. We loved our stay and would highly recommend!

Hosts are so kind. Very helpful and provided us with breakfast every morning. Easy 5-10 minute walk to the places we wanted to visit and even provided us with a car rental for places that were further away!

We had a wonderful stay at Sofi Pension! We were made to be right at home, including home cooked breakfast, a ride to and from the ferry, and great recommendations for the island. Highly recommend this for a stay in Naxos, and very safe for two girls traveling alone!

4 day stay in Naxos. Sofi pension a perfect place to spend our trip here. Great location , lovely and clean , tidied daily , a complimentary breakfast we weren’t expecting, picked up from port , provided help / suggestions with excursions/ Beaches, the family couldn’t have done more and we loved our stay here , thoroughly recommend! We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Naxos! This family-run (thank you Rena, Carlos & Dimitri) accommodation truly made us feel at home. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed at the port, and they even arranged a drop-off when it was time to leave — such a thoughtful touch that made traveling so much easier. The family is well respected around the island. We can't wait to go back!!
We were a family of 5 Adults, the extra bed was super comfortable and long enough. The bedding was beautifully done with fresh sheets and cleaned rooms daily!
The breakfast was a real highlight — beautifully prepared with generous portions that kept us full well into the day. The rooms were immaculate, spotlessly clean, and far more spacious than we expected. We stayed in both the Deluxe Suites and Junior Suite, and honestly, the photos don’t do them justice — they were super spacious and beautifully maintained.

The hosts were also incredibly adaptable, accommodating last-minute changes with such ease and kindness, which really added to the stress-free experience.

The only minor downside is that it’s not directly opposite the water, but it's only a 10minute walk to the main city centre and the beach! The hospitality, warmth, and attention to detail made this one of the most memorable stays of our trip. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Naxos!
