⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ein aussergewöhnliches Hotel – wir gehen sehr gerne wieder!

Unser Aufenthalt im Xanadu Island Bodrum war von Anfang bis Ende einfach hervorragend. Schon beim Check-in wurden wir herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns sofort willkommen.

Die gesamte Hotelanlage ist wunderschön, gepflegt und bietet einen traumhaften Ausblick auf das Meer. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die Sauberkeit – sowohl die Zimmer als auch die Restaurants, Pools und alle öffentlichen Bereiche waren jederzeit makellos.

Die Zimmer sind grosszügig, modern eingerichtet und sehr komfortabel. Das Housekeeping hat ausgezeichnete Arbeit geleistet und alles war täglich in perfektem Zustand.

Das Essen war ein echtes Highlight. Die Auswahl war gross, abwechslungsreich und von hoher Qualität. Jeden Tag gab es neue Gerichte, frische Zutaten und eine hervorragende Präsentation. Auch die À-la-carte-Restaurants und Bars haben uns begeistert. Besonders positiv fiel uns auf, wie aufmerksam auf Sauberkeit und Hygiene geachtet wurde.

Ein grosses Kompliment gilt dem gesamten Team. Alle Mitarbeitenden waren aussergewöhnlich freundlich, professionell und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Man merkt, dass hier viel Wert auf Gastfreundschaft und exzellenten Service gelegt wird. Jeder Wunsch wurde mit einem Lächeln erfüllt.

Auch die ruhige und entspannte Atmosphäre hat uns sehr gefallen. Trotz der Grösse der Anlage hatten wir nie das Gefühl, dass es überfüllt war. Es gab jederzeit genügend Platz an den Pools und am Strand, sodass wir unseren Urlaub in vollen Zügen geniessen konnten.

Das Xanadu Island Bodrum überzeugt in jeder Hinsicht und ist aus unserer Sicht eines der besten Hotels, in denen wir bisher unseren Urlaub verbringen durften. Wir können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und freuen uns schon jetzt auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt.

Ana restoranda servis edilen yemeklerde genel olarak lezzet eksikligi vardi. Ayrica otelde bir karasinek sorunu var. Plajda sineklerden dogru duzgun dinlenemiyorsunuz ve yemek yerken cok rahatsiz ediyorlar. Otelden bu konuda destek isteyincede aldigim cevap cok musteri odakli ve misafir perver degildi. Beni direk supermarketten sinek kovucu almaya yonlendirdiler ve otelin en buyuk sorunlarindan bir tanesinin cozumunu bana delege ettiler

Xanadu İsland Bodrum güzel bir tesis.

Otelin konumu, denizi, manzarası ve fiziksel olanakları çok başarılı

Cons:

Öncelikle belirtmek isterim ki karşılaştığımız sorunların büyük çoğunlüğü çalışanlardan değil, personel yetersizliğinden kaynaklanıyor. Görev yapan ekip son derece güler yüzlü, nazik ve özveriliydi. Ancak bu yoğunluğu karşılayacak sayıda personel bulunmadığı açıkça hissediliyordu.

Özellikle barlarda servis veren personel büyük bir gayret gösterse de sayı olarak yetersiz kaldıkları için hizmetlerde gecikmeler yaşanıyordu. Aynı durum öğle servisinde de kendini gösteriyordu. Masalarda kullanılan tabaklar uzun süre toplanamıyor, personel yetişmekte zorlanıyordu.

Sahil bölümünde gün boyunca kullanılmış havluların ve boş bardakların uzun süre şezlonglarda kaldığını gördük. Bu nedenle boş olan birçok şezlong dolu gibi görünüyor ve misafirler gereksiz yere yer aramak zorunda kalıyordu.

Ortak alanlardaki tuvaletler özellikle yoğun saatlerde yeterince sık kontrol edilip temizlenmiyordu. Bu kalite ve standarttaki bir otelde ortak alan hijyenine daha fazla özen gösterilmesini beklerdim.

Animasyon ekibi ise maalesef beklentimizin altında kaldı. Gün içerisinde misafirlerle iletişim kuran, ortamı canlandıran ve etkinlikleri yönlendiren profesyonel bir ekip yerine daha pasif bir görüntü sergiliyorlardı. Akşamları sahne kenarında bulunmaları dışında misafirlerle yeterince etkileşim kurduklarını göremedik.


Tüm bu eleştirilerime rağmen şunu özellikle vurgulamak isterim ki Xanadu Island Bodrum hâlâ çok güzel bir tesis.

This hotel has a fantastic location. The view of the islands and open sea are magnificent.
All gardens are kept in impeccable shape. There are 4 beaches for every taste , as we were at the beginning of the season and it was windy , we were staying only on one beach. It was protected from the wind. The water is pristine clean ! There are a lot of fish in the sea.

The food in the Turkish restaurant was exceptionally good. We gained 2 kg during 10 days mainly on meatballs and grilled fish.
Someone from the kitchen has a very good sense of humour naming the dishes. The chicken of Monaco was the winner ! :)
Service of ironing clothes free of charge was a nice option.

This hotel has so much space, that everybody can find the right spot for themselves. Several swimming pools, bowling , ping pong, spa are the attraction.
As we were there when the hotel was celebrating the 16th anniversary, we enjoyed the live music , played by a trio of beautiful musicians.


The WiFi works everywhere .

Overall good but needs improvement
Pros:

This was our third stay at Xanadu, and we stayed for 9 days. We love the sea—it is the resort's greatest asset. Unfortunately, the food quality was disappointing this time, and we even got sick one day. It seemed that the focus was on quantity and presentation rather than quality. Check-in took nearly two hours and was unpleasant. Sadly, the facilities appear to be deteriorating. There are also too many smoking areas throughout the resort. It would be nice to have more smoke-free spaces for guests.
We truly appreciate the staff—they were very helpful. In particular, Mucait, Alparen, Fatma, and Eda went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible.
