Nach anfänglichen „Schwierigkeiten“ und konstruktiver Kritik mit einem Direktor: Superhotel
Pros:

Die ruhige Lage direkt am Meer ist prächtig. Auf unseren Wunsch beim Buchen, ein Zimmer im 1. Stock zu erhalten, wurde eingegangen. Wunderbares Zimmer mit einem Balkon zum Meer und einer kleinen Dachterrasse mit einer Badewanne und Dusche unter freiem Himmel - herrlich! Das Personal war - bis auf eine Ausnahme - sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit - Chapeau!
Das Winpairing Menu hat uns sehr gut gefallen - der Sommelier hat alles wunderbar erklärt und auch der Winemaker aus Südafrika hat ausführlich Auskunft über seine Weine gegeben.

Cons:

Das Frühstück muss man von zwei verschiedenen Räumen zusammenstellen. Das Yoghurt ist z.B. nicht bei den Cereals.
Das bestellte „egg Benedict“ war schlicht und ergreifend ungeniessbar - das Ei, das beim Einstechen schön herausfliessen sollte, war pickelhart, der Toast matschig und die Sauce verkrustet von der Microwelle. ABER: nachdem wir dem Chef Feedback gegeben haben, wurde das sofort geändert.
Beim ersten Abendessen wurde uns von einem unfreundlichen Kellner herablassend erklärt, was der „food credit“ bedeutet.
Auch das wurde uns vom Chef ausführlich am nächsten Tag dargelegt. Ich finde dieses System bei einem 5 Sterne Hotel mit Halbpension etwas heftig - aber ich weiss, dass gewisse Gäste immer das Teuerste bestellen - leider.
Ein Kellner hat vielleicht andere Talente, aber sicher nicht als Kellner, was uns auch von anderen Gästen bestätigt wurde.
Das Salz auf den Tischen war auf allen Salzspendern verstopft und zum Teil rostig unter der Abdeckung. Man hat uns einfach einen anderen hingestellt, der natürlich ebenso verstopft war. Nach dem Feedback waren alle Salzspender-Gläser verschwunden….

Séjour extrêmement dépaysant, au calme, avec un accueil exceptionnel
Pros:

Le personnel a été d'une rare gentillesse, discrétion, attention pour nous. La maison 20 degrés Sud est un ilot de calme et de sérénité qui a été idéal pour nous retrouver en couple. La restauration a été une vraie opportunité pour nous de découvrir les saveurs locales.

If it wasn't for the rude staff, then it could of been a 9/10. Customer service is very important

Food was amazing.
Most of the wait and bar staff were amazing.
Views were amazing.
You can use the kayak, sail boat, snorkels as part of your stay!

Cons:

We came to Mauritius for our honeymoon. First stayed in the South West, then headed to the North. Not entirely sure if there is a culture difference, but at this hotel staff were no way near as nice. Slightly uncomfortable, not very welcoming except some of the bar and wait staff and hotel manager.
On our first day, I asked the reception if the sun loungers could be cleaned as there was bird poo and towels and cigarratte buts left from the day before. She responded with 'show me'. In which i did, and she said she would get someone to come and clean it, no one came till lunchtime. There was no apology, and felt embarrassed that I had to show her. It's a shame, I feel like the two women that work at reception bring the whole experience down. Very unenthusiastic, cold and rude.


Please note, no special treatment given that it's your honeymoon! We received some kiwi in our room, on the first day, but it was covered in little ants.

Pros:

Exceptional, from staff to facilities and activities. The place is very calm and relaxing, wirh private beach, water activies. It is also very close to the busy areas of Grand Baie, we hired a car and would drive to try different restaurants. The manager was around checking if everything was OK, amazing customer service.

The food was nice.
The room was great.
The staff was great.

Cons:

The boat ride to the Island was overpriced. I paid R10,000 for a trip that I later found out cost no more than R2,000. Worse, I even paid a tip of R1000 to the skipper for this trip. I feel that the hotel staff who arranged this trip for me were part of the scheme to rob me as a tourist. This left a bad taste in my mouth.

Pros:

Hôtel Superbe! Très gentils serveurs

Cons:

Pour un 5 étoiles relais & Châteaux, on s’attendait à des bouteilles d’eau mise à disposition sur la plage et un service disponible.
Petit déjeuner peut également être amélioré.
Également des réseaux d’eaux face aux chambres pour améliorer la propreté dans les chambres également.

Wonderful and romantic place
Pros:

Quiet place extactly what I was looking for. Peace of mind.

Cons:

it's not that I don't like. Little advice the hotel should find a system to book the bed sun, especially when the hotel is full. Guests leave for more than 1 hour to the restaurant and we believe they were gone. Thanks

Pros:

Essen sehr gut, hatten am 2. Tag "Pass Chefs Table" gebucht, war ein tolles Erlebnis. Strand und andere Facilities haben wir nicht genutzt. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Cons:

Zimmer für den Preis sehr klein, Klimaanlage konnte man Nachts nicht laufen lassen, zugig über dem Bett.
Frühstück gut, aber nicht außergewöhnlich wie das Abendessen.

On aimerait rester dans cette Maison, toute la journée... et tous les jours.
Pros:

Etablissement de charme, ambiance intimiste. Très belles chambres dans un très beau site, avec un personnel aux petits soins et une cuisine très soignée au restaurant. Notre meilleur choix d'hotel à Maurice !
