Cerviola Hotel

The staff are humble and nice, but the room and property conditions are not good. The sink is clogged and the water does not drain properly. I booked a single-bed room, but they gave me a three-bed room, and each bed is too small for even one person. The most disturbing part is that the beds are very noisy whenever you move during sleep.

Excellent customer service with smiling faces. Lovely food. Homes from home. I would highly recommend them hotel to all my friends.

The service of all the staff is excellent and very friendly. The entire place is very clean and organised. Different choices of breakfast and all so tasty every morning. Excellent restaurant with choices for dinner and bar has a wide range of drinks for everyone. Loved the pool as it was a perfect temperature. Definitely refer anyone to stay here. stayed at cervoila for over 3 weeks, i booked it has it had a pool , but the pool was always full from people the ain’t staying at the hotel the pool opens at 10 am you go 5 min before and all the sunbed was always fool with people who stay by the pool for the day , i found it not fair people who stayed at hotel couldn’t even get a sunbed, every night when i go to hav ed a shower there was hardly hot water , and cervoila needs to change the mattress on the beds they are bad so unconfertable the breakfast after a week got sick of it it was the same thing everyday

A lovely hotel breakfast a really good choice. Bedroom was lovely with bathroom. Would be beneficial with new mattresses as the one we had wasn't very comfortable. Over all a fantastic place to stay.

the hotel Cerviola was the only one we could find with single beds.
it was comfortable eventually after 2 changes of room.
the breakfast was superb - the best bit.
i would like to see an option in the filters for 2 beds on the booking form

A middle-of-the-road hotel that is ideal for an overnight stay. The beds were very comfortable and conveniently located on a major street.
The room itself was utilitarian in nature - nothing good or bad.

Arrived on 19th of February, easy transfer from airport, hotel smells great, fresh, nice welcoming and room seems just renovated, clean and nothing to complain really. I did not book any breakfast because I want to skip those calories haha. But Maraskala is calm, location fine and what I like bug free and a good airco with also a rain-shower. Top

The listing says 3 star. The customer service, building, breakfast and caring attitude says 4 star. Vanja (?) on the front desk and the team went out of their way to look after us. They made our short break perfect and we will 100% go back when life permits.

The hotel is a short walk from Marsaskala Harbour in 1 direction down the hill and St. Thomas Bay in the other direction on the flat. 10 minutes either way and you have got waterfront, restaurants, bars, cafes and a wonderful peaceful vibe.

The bus stop is 1 minute from the hotel to go to pretty much anywhere on the island at 2Euro. for a ticket that lasts for 2 hours. We loved Valetta and Mdina.

The cliff top walk right behind the hotel is a viewing point and the whole area is peaceful and safe day or night to go for walk.

Our room was clean and well presented. The room service visit daily and they didn't miss anything.

The bar area in the hotel was well stocked, well priced and we were made to feel welcome by the team.

There is a small shop integrated into the hotel for the little extras and there are 24 hour options everywhere - even in such a quiet and peaceful area.

The pace of life was slow, the sky was clear and blue most days - even in January - and the local temperature reached approx 20C when the UK was getting 2C.

This hotel is perfectly placed, beautifully run and brilliantly priced.

We were lucky to find this place and I recommend it as a well priced, very friendly well placed and relaxing place to stay.

Sadly I had the same experience of many other customers, I was told after I arrived, checked in and paid my city tax that there was no room for me at the hotel and I would have to make my way with my luggage to the other end of town to a bed and breakfast. There was no mention of help to get there and to be frank the person that booked me in should not be on any hotel reception, to say she was rude is an understatement, not a good representative of the hotel at all.
Having said that, when my room became available later the following day, it was clean and spacious and was well cleaned every day.
I was there for work so did not use the pool or any other facilities.

Welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Hotel was exceptionally clean and in a great location to explore Marsaskala.

Great hotel, good brekkie in a great location.

Great hotel. I was moved like others to another property, but that proved to be a win, just across the road in a lovely apartment. Staff are extremely friendly and a big shout out to the ladies that service the room daily, they’re amazing.

Good breakfast daily and again friendly attentive staff. Unfortunately the pool bar closed just after we arrived as it was the end of the season, but I think that made the pool quieter which was great.

Marsaskala is lovely with some really good restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel, perfect location

Hotel was good,but was disappointed to be informed that we had been moved across the road to the apartments without any prior notice,separating us from the rest of our family.also check out time is 11.00 and not noon as stated by yourselves.

Absolutely perfect as my overall expectation was met.

I gave this hotel 5 stars when I stayed last year. However, this year's experience was unforgettable in a totally different way, and other reviewers have had similar experiences. I booked two rooms in January for 3 days for me and my family but on different dates and with different booking agencies. I called in the afternoon to say our flight was arriving late and gave the details of my bookings - there seemed to be no problems. However, when we arrived at 2 am in the morning after a long day travelling - to my horror one of the rooms was in a completely different hotel 5 minutes walk away. I was exhausted and had to walk all that way with my luggage - I am not young. They did allocate me a room in the Cerviola the next day but the staff treated me as a difficult person for not staying in the other hotel - would definitely not recommend this hotel now.
