Agia Anna Hotel

Wir haben bereits bei der Ankunft gemerkt das im ganzen Apartment ein seltsames Geräusch zu hören ist, wir dachten zuerst es ist eventuell Whirlpool, Klimaanlage oder Ventilator vom Nebenapartment und hofften das es nicht die ganze Nacht zu hören sein wird. Als es dann unerträglich wurde, sind wir zur Rezeption gegangen um zu fragen. Die Damen dort waren wirklich sehr nett allerdings hatten wir hier das Gefühl, das wir gar nicht ernst genommen wurden. Eine Rezeptionist kam mit und meinte sie hört es auch aber das es vermutlich der Wind von draußen ist. Natürlich kann man da nichts dagegen machen allerdings sind wir am letzten Abend draufgekommen was das Geräusch war. Als wir draussen auf der Terrasse saßen, hörten wir es wieder sehr laut und haben gemerkt das es das Rohr am Haus entlang war. Fotos hab ich angefügt, eventuell sollte sich das genauer angeschaut werden, denn dann wäre der Aufenthalt perfekt gewesen, wenn wir besser geschlafen hätten. Ebenso ist unser Apartment direkt neben den Aufenthaltsräumen der Mitarbeiter gewesen und diese waren auch nicht unbedingt leise.

This property was good but we had problems with the sink not draining in the bathroom, the WiFi not working in the room, the kitchen have 10 spoons but only one knife and the beds were not very comfortable.

We also didn’t love that the breakfast is a walk away from the apartment (maybe 5-10mins depending on your walking speed). The location of breakfast is beautiful but is annoying (first world problem, I know).

This stay was deeply disappointing and felt highly misleading from the outset.

The included breakfast is not served on-site, but at Santana Beach Club (the most expensive beach club in Agia Anna FYI), which is a 10-minute walk away along a busy road with no shade whatsoever. I booked this property specifically for my elderly parents, who have mobility issues, and they were effectively unable to use a service that was advertised as included. The property showed no flexibility or consideration in offering a nearer alternative. For anyone unfamiliar with the area, this is extremely misleading.

The mosquito net in the room was damaged, which made nights utterly miserable. The room was constantly filled with mosquitos, and given the ground-floor balcony facing an unkempt part of the garden, it also raised concerns about other insects or cats getting in. Basic maintenance was clearly neglected.

The room itself was significantly smaller than expected and came with a small double bed, making the accommodation feel poor value for money and far less comfortable than advertised. When asked for an upgrade, I was offered the option of a suite for only 2 nights and expected to pay a difference of 100 euros (which I declined).

The cleaning service was substandard.
