I recently spent a week at Crowne Plaza IHG Gulshan, Dhaka. My experience, in one word, was fantastic! From the cleanliness of the facility to the warm hospitality of the staff, everything was exemplary. The central location, the food, and the room were all wonderful. The breakfast was a great way to start the day and the menu I thought would please guests from all over. I know I will forget many of the staff but special mention go to Onty, Isha, and Ismat for treating me like family at the Flair. Small example, they saw that I liked the beetroot juice and they had extra made specially for me. Unasked! Kamrul and team always had a kind word at the door and I relied on their advice to navigate around the megacity. I have travelled extensively for decades and am certain that I can recognize excellence when I experience it. Well done team, and see you soon!
My experience at Crown Plaza Residence in Gulshan has been wonderful and brought joy to
my family. The room with extra living space proved to be an excellent choice, providing us
with areas to eat, play, and unwind. The true treasure of this property is not the rooms or
food but the amazing staff members. We are blown away by the warmth and hospitality
that have been shown to us.
We are warmly welcomed each morning by Mr. Deen, the café host / lead. He is truly
amazing and goes above and beyond. He greets us with a smile each morning and makes
us fantastic lattes / coffee. He also offers my son special juice and treats. It’s difficult to
express in words how special Deen makes us feel; walking into breakfast often feels like
entering a friend’s home, thanks to the genuine warmth he shares. The kindness and care
he shows is truly remarkable.
The breakfast buffet is very delicious prepared by Mr. Shobuj. From made-to-order omelets,
mutton bhuna and paratha, to fresh fruit, bread and cheese, and a selection of pastries,
there was plenty to enjoy. My two-year-old son loves boiled eggs, and Shobuj kindly makes
it for him every day.
After the first night of our stay, the air conditioning in our room was not functioning as
intended. I contacted the front desk, and an engineer was promptly sent to assess the
situation. Upon evaluation, it was determined that the repair would take much longer. The
team members, Imtiaz and Nazrul, offered me an alternative room on the same floor.
Subsequently, Nazrul and Imtiaz, assisted with relocating our belongings to the new
accommodation, exceeding my expectations for customer service. Nazrul maintained our
room consistently and provided additional water and towels without us asking, recognizing
our needs. One morning, Imtiaz gave my son a cute soccer ball which is very thoughtful. My son played with that ball for days.
In summary, if you are in Gulshan, I highly, recommend staying at Crown Plaza Residence. The staff and team members will go above and beyond to ensure your experience is truly
unforgettable.

Food and Room service, takes too much time lands up not very hot, and doesn’t always land up what u asked for. Als compared to quality or food servers it’s over priced- yes I would min paying that if I was at a 5star hotel with real restaurant ordering.
