Hotel Lake Castle

Very friendly and comfortable hotel. The breakfast is really good, and mix of dhal and curries, as well as toast and pastries. The coffee is good too... Which means they really should get bigger cups! The staff were so helpful, especially Mohmod, Assif. There is a small gym with running machines and weights. It is next to a Gulshan park which is perfect for a walk, you may even see the fruit bats.

Its was a great and wounder full service and Qualityfull room. We really love the breakfast and room service as well. Their is no issues and uncomfotable their.

My room was spacious with comfortable seating and a television with a range of English language channels. The bathroom has good hot water supply and a good amenity kit. Bed is firm but comfortable. Food in the restaurant is good with large portions. The starters are easily enough for two. The airport shuttle service is excellent. I will certainly stay here again.

Spent around 10 days in the hotel. Very good stay, the hotel is clean, with very nice workers, from receptionists to cleaning staff, and overall assistance! The food is also very good, from the breakfast to the restaurant menu. We stayed in both buildings and found the newer one more comfortable.

We stayed at the hotel for 20 days.
The hotel is in quite place and very comfortable. All the staffs are kind and helpful even the securities. We feel safe even we are far from our home. They make sure that our room is clean everyday.
The wifi is also strong that can support your daily work.
The buffet breakfast is also delicious.
Five stars are not enough to rate this hotel because of the treatment and services that you will get.

Nice hotel in a quiet part of town. Which is not a given in this noisy city. Large and clean rooms. The staff at the hotel are very pleasant and helpful. A hotel where it is easy to feel at home. Would recommend this hotel, as it is also a short distance to the airport. The hotel is also helpful with transport. Haavard S.

Tried this hotel after a couple of others. It was by far the best. Excellent buffet breakfast, good service from all staff, comfortable spacious rooms, quiet location next to a park with jogging track. I cannot recommend this hotel too highly!

The Rooms are tiny and smelly and dated. Requested to change room as was staying for a whole week and they asked for more money. Other guest that arrived later had better rooms. Reception staff is out to grouch you for money at every request.

Had confirmed booking from expedia and was told they did not have the booking and it was cancelled- where in the desk clerk the night before confirmed that the room was booked for the extra night.

No natural light- windows facing the next building wall 2 feet away.

Breakfast buffet was the same for 7 straight days- no change in the food variety.

Will not recommend for stay.

I enjoyed my stay in Hotel Lake Castle. The staff members are very responsive and prompt in meeting my needs. Room rent is reasonable. The hotel location is convenient for moving around places for personal needs.

The service was very satisfying, starting from airport pick-up, fast check-in process, clean room, varied and quite delicious breakfast menu.

I was very impressed with the waiter named Mr. Mohon, be ready and always provide total service. My shoes were damaged, since this is my first visit and I am still unfamiliar with the location. He was ready to take me to the destination shop and take me back home.

I was travelling Bangladesh for my official duties and i stayed at Hotel Lake Castle almost one month. It is located in a nicest areas of Dhaka.
From the time I checked in until the check out all the staff provided me with a warmly, friendly and an efficinet service. They were polite and well mannered.
Attending my needs at the room or elsewhere were quick and perfect.
The room was clean, comfortable and was equipped with all basic needs. Towels and bed linen were provided daily. Toiletries provided included soap, shower gel, shampoo, moisturising cream, tooth brush with tooth paste, comb and shower cap. Facilities for in room cofee/ tea making was provided. Iron and ironing board supplied on request. The room was also equipped with safe locker, minibar, digital TV and hair dryer. Free shoe shining, daily newspaper, and local free call were also provided. Free airport pick up and drop is a bonus.
Meals at the restaurant were best suited to my palate. Breakfast buffet had a range of varieties to select from continental, Indian, Thai and local food. Food varieties offered changed daily. Fresh fruit and fresh fruit juice were offered daily of course.
The Hotel has a Gym but I did not use it.
Hotel rates are one of the best in the area and I can rate it as value for money.
I never hesitate to book the Hotel Lake Castle if I happened to revisit Dhaka.

Polite and very helpful staff. Vegetarian food could have been better. Nice place to stay. Rooms are clean. Unlimited drinking water is also available. I would stay there again if atall I visit Dhaka again.

Amazing, love it so much, one of the best hotels in Dhaka. Service was exceptional. Loved my room, they even upgraded us to a better room. I also love the restaurants and food. They gave us complimentary fruits and they had various facilities. It was sort of a vintage old style hotel but I still loved it. Across the street there is a nice park you can take a walk in.

Well-equipped clean rooms, great service, and scrumptious breakfast buffet. Located across the street from Gulshan Park and its 1 kilometer walking trail. Welcoming lobby with cafe. Security is excellent.

The staff was amazing at Hotel Lake Castle! Breakfast and dinner were delicious every day. If I ever come back, I'm staying here! Mahon was especially helpful and accommodating! He was so eager to help make our stay wonderful and enjoyable.

Best breakfast in Dhaka! Sweet and savory continental, Asian, and Indian breakfast items with an egg bar with personalized omelets. Very diverse selection with fresh juice and fruit too. The dinners were also delicious, with American, Italian, Asian, and Indian dishes.
Room was comfortable and quiet. Hot water worked for me. Some rooms smelled a little mildew-y, which isn’t surprising for such a humid country, so if that’s the case, just ask to switch.
Service was 5 STAR! They went ABOVE AND BEYOND, even during a major holiday to do an early breakfast for us. Thanks to the whole team and to Mohan for being very welcoming.

I stayed in four nights, includlng the weekend. I am very pleased with the location, staff and my park viewed clean room. The windows have a good isolation to avoid from the street noise.
I also enjoyed with the breakfast as a vegan and the dinner at the restaurant with a nice, soft intrumental music. Just restaurant staff has loud conversation among themselves continously.
I would specifically thank to front office manager Enayet Ullah for arranging my airport transportation and my staying at the hotel nicely.
